That did happen but not sure about the implication. Some folk really are petrified of injections.. some to the point of having a fear of needles ... it would be amazing if the delivery of such vaccines could be done another way? Saying that the vast majority seem to understand that the short term pain is worth the benefit ... so far anyway !

I had my first Astra jab on Saturday and my arm is still really sore ... I’m wondering if they gave me it by electroporation lol ! No other side effects to report though thankfully !!

I have agreed up until now that pushing a second generation vaccine that isn’t ready, whilst there are still so many unvaccinated with first gen probably wouldn’t be a good idea ... but are we seeing the foundations for the second generation vaccines being laid with these ‘concern about variants’ stories now that we are over 50% at least first vaccine delivered ?

Afternoon all .. Crumbs, thanks for the link with Sally Adams .. it really is a fantastic discussion to listen to, and well worth the time. What is particularly interesting is the obvious respect between the enormously experienced experts. Cobra and scancell are working closely together on not just coming up with ‘A’ solution but making that solution one that can be scaled up efficiently to tackle what is a global problem! Fascinating stuff indeed !

I’d say that each reprogrammed version of current vaccines is not a universal vaccine in itself anyway !?
