With a certain amount of ‘resistance’ to regular injections out there, I can’t imagine electroporation being more accepted !?

Electroporation in the ‘orphan’ arena is arguable .. but as a global delivery method ? I’m not so sure..

Interesting find .. electroporation and targeting the receptor binding domain of the S protein ..

I think scancell may be trying to avoid electroporation due to the difficulties in scaling up to global delivery !?

Also doesn’t look to be targeting anything else ??

What scancell is working on is very important indeed and should not be overshadowed by tittle tattle !

(My opinion only of course!) who cares about a few pence up or down or sideways ... it’s a potential solution to this very big problem and I’m thankful that ‘we’ have even the ability to even consider a better solution than the ones already out there !!! (As good as they are), they are not the end game... again just my opinion !

Never even thought scancell would still be a company 9 years ago ... and yes, I mean one way or the other ! Lol ..

The thing is, they have developed, and are now something much more than they were ...

The future of scancell is an unknown .. but now, with many more routes on the map, it is even more compelling !

I’m sure LD and team will endeavour to deliver Covidity with the best possible technology available to them .. I think gold nano particles have been mentioned previously but I guess until we are told officially about the delivery method and trial design, we are all just guessing ... so looking forward to further news on these subjects..

Could any tiny biotech ever find themselves in a hotter arena !?

Scancell’s market cap is still pocket change in the pharma world ... Granted, several hurdles to negotiate for sure, but time scales have been accelerated beyond belief globally for trials, so my money is firmly placed on the brains at scancell.

The secondary bonus scancell will achieve if they have any success with Covidity, is of course even further validation of the immunobody platform (and avidimab!)

Who knows what next week will bring. Fascinating times !

Nature just fighting back ? .. what struck me most in that article is the comment from prof Winston (from child of our time documentary fame) .. he’s very well respected and knows his stuff ... as you say , worrying .. but we will find solutions .. (in my opinion) ..

I imagine even universal Covid vaccines will need monitoring for variants, but the frequency with which they will need tweaking will be a lot lower ... (I guess) !

In my opinion only .. trying to keep up with the virus by developing new vaccines each time a new variant pops up is a bit of a chaotic sticking plaster solution ...

Universal Covid vaccines are the only solution to open the world back up ... ?

Just seen news about Brazil ! Not looking too good ... how can the world open back up when some countries are still getting worse !! Imagine trying to vaccinate everyone in the favellas around São Paulo for instance ?? Areas like these are cauldrons for the development of new variants ... We might be patting ourselves on the back for how well we are doing (and we are) .. this has some ‘playing out’ to yet I guess !??
