You'd like to think that if the Synairgen Team were getting over-optimistic and/or delusional in their chances of success through possibly biting off more than they can chew with their future broad-spectrum aspirations that these partners and advisors would rein them in a bit. I guess it depends on exactly who these "partners" and "advisors" are and what their motives are.

I do certainly see a lot of value in the "walk before you can run" approach, given previous shortcomings...

Clearly the company don't see the multi-virus approach as a pipe-dream.

So, they're either over-optimistic, incompetent, delusional or they know something we don't.

Speaking of comms, I notice the rolling reiteration of recent company events on Twitter and LinkedIn seems to have ceased. Bigger issues to deal with maybe?

Bit premature to be talking celebratory parties. I remember a similar situation on another stock which was "nailed-on", "guaranteed" to multi-bag once it received trial results (which, even by the most learned people and analysts had a massive chance of success). Parties planned all over the place. They even had their own "Wise Owl" posting the same "multibag!!!", "£10/share!!!, £20/share!!!, £3000/share!!!!", "see you down the Ferrari dealer!!!!!" crap 50 times a day.

The trial failed.

The stock lost over 90% of its value that day.

Let's at least wait until good things happen until we start getting over excited, which hopefully they will. Good luck all.

Petro Matad is planning to start its exploration programme in Block V (where it has a 100%
interest) in Q2 2023. Initially, the company will probe the Velociraptor prospect, which is updip
from the Snow Leopard well that showed evidence of a working petroleum system.
Velociraptor is a significant prospect with gross mean potential recoverable resources of 200
mmbbl. Success here would have a material impact on Petro Matad’s resource base and open
up further prospects in the area. Although this is very much a wildcat well, management
believes it has a 20% chance of success (see page 5).

...this also would indicate that the commercial hires taken on just prior to Sprinter read-out are still extremely busy and too snowed under to absorb the MA role themselves. I wonder what sort of things they could possibly be working on.

A sponsored advertisement video, but it gives a small insight into the role of the "Medical Affairs" team, which is obviously interesting given Synairgen's recent search for an Associate Director of Medical Affairs.

With the SP languishing so low, the complete lack of news and this BB descending into anarchy and in-fighting more and more, it is difficult for genuine LTHs to keep the faith.

I was reminded of the below recently, which I fear is what would happen to me if I was to decide to prematurely throw in the towel at any point:

Also, this $1.3bn deal which happened last week for a clinical-stage pharma with a drug at P2 stage, gives hope that someone may see the value in SNG001 and take a similar (or hopefully better) punt on it:

I know the above don't really influence our apply directly to our current situation, but I find they're small things to at least help to keep focused on the potential future prize.

I guess time will tell anyway. Hopefully our patience will be rewarded at some point sooner rather than later.

Hopefully you're right Gunto. We definitely have more than enough £200k+ employees to cope with being on a trial like STRIVE, so it does lead one to think that this role would be for something else. As to what though....

I think a similar story was posted on here from This is Money a couple of weeks ago, but got lost in the usual dross. At least the Daily Mail are still giving us a mention...

Hopefully we'll see the next agent to be trialled announced before 2025.

It is true that for all we know we could be 1 signature off a multi-billion £/$ deal with someone....

However, while we're still hawking ourselves around conferences talking about "interesting signals" and "merits further investigation" it's difficult to see this being the case. Especially since I've lost my rose-tinted specs. It's just a waiting game I guess.

One could easily start wondering whether it ever will...

Things I gain some hope from:
- We've still retained all of our "experts" - no pruning or jumping ship
- Job advert for Associate Director Medical Affairs on mega money
- UK Government finding out who Synairgen are this year and giving them an innovation award thingy.

Anything else which should be making us super optimistic???
