I bet the collaboration might be lacking someone specific who could liaise between Az/Janssen and Synairgen in the event that they might want to trial or commercialise SNG001 . An "Associate Director of Medical Affairs" if you will....

Would be interesting to see how much involvement they're having with Synairgen. At the AGM, RM stated they had meetings at the usual intervals I.Is get and were supportive of the company. I wonder if that is still the case currently, given the somewhat nebulous "plan" for Synairgen's future and the ever-dwindling SP/cash.

Even 90% odds, although obviously excellent, is a world away from 100%.. so as long as investors are aware that the incessant "IT'S COMING!!!!" "GUARANTEED, ABSOLUTELY GUARANTEED POSITIVE RNS COMING!!!!" doesn't mean it's at 100% already, then all is good.

As I've stated before, I've invested in stocks where similar supposed odds of success have been expected. One recently, where there were the same excited posts about parties, visits to Ferrari dealers etc. Even people remortgaging houses and literally raiding kid's piggy banks to invest more as "it was so certain to be a success".

The RNS came and instead of the SP going from £2 to £10 and rising to upwards of £50, like the excited people were saying it would do, it was a negative RNS and the market opened at 10p...

It's always sensible to mix a bit of caution and pragmatic thinking alongside the hope and optimism.

With regards to the LinkedIn (& twitter) messages, these are clearly communicatory "breadcrumbs" carefully dropped for us ostensibly "starved of information", long-suffering Investors.

For example, if you look at who has liked today's LinkedIn post, you will see that at least 2 of the people have previously held roles at GlaxoSmithKline.. yes, the same GlaxoSmithKline whose Global Medical Director attended Dr Monk's presentation at ID Week.

This indicates to me that there is clearly a multi-billion £/$ takeover of Synairgen coming very soon. Possibly within days!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

GLA, I'm off to buy a few bottles of Synairgen Champagne to celebrate.

It does make even the most pragmatic and patient of investors wonder what on earth the team could be doing to fill their time on a day-to-day basis. Hopefully all working non-stop "at haste" (I put those two words especially for MrCosts) on something absolutely Earth-shatteringly monumental and positive, with a profound upward effect on the SP and future fortunes of the company.

It is certainly an experience and I would encourage anyone who's not been to an AGM before to try and get there.

I would particularly encourage those with strong negative/frustrated views to attend also (hopefully the room will accomodate us all...). At last year's AGM I found all members of the board to be open to the questions, albeit there was no real ranting and raving going on. The questions asked were robust and probing though, which I think is a far more useful approach than simply shouting and bawling, but sometimes emotions can take over of course.

There is also real value in meeting people face to face IMHO. I gleaned more from the after meeting chats than I did during the official meeting/Q&A session. I think the company is at a real crunch point now (I may be wrong, but it really is difficult to say with the lack of recent updates) and I want to see the whites of the eyes of the board members and gauge how they answer the questions. I won't be shy in telling them if I think they're not up to the job and I'm sure many others would be the same if they're getting that overall vibe from the BOD. It's a fair point that they may know various strategies to placate or obfuscate, but I think we are mostly seasoned enough to see through that.

Billywild, my nominee platform had to send a letter to Synairgen, appointing me as one of their "corporate representitives", thus allowing me to speak and vote on their behalf in respect of the number of shares I held.

There may well be a simpler way - I'm sure someone more knowledgable could advise.

I'll be attending, assuming they don't move the venue to Mozambique or something stupid.

Comms definitely shocking, but I just remind myself:
- No-one has jumped ship yet (as far as we know)
- Poly not selling (as far as we know)
- Associate Director of medical affairs job recently advertised - person should be starting soon you would think
- Cash runway should last way past end of this year.
- No news is sometimes good news.
- AGM not a million miles off so we can all let-rip at them then. Can't wait to see the many keyboard warriors tearing in...
