Non-stop ramping ad-infinitum with multiple posts per-hour in some cases (WOS) is OK - "LP ANY day!!" "20p+ on LP" "VERY VERY VERY VERY close to news now!!!" "when's the £1 party?!!"

All fine and lapped up.

ANY slightly pragmatic or cautious post....or anything not fitting the above over-confident, reckless, happy-clappy ramping narrative and you're thrown into the "Deramper!!!!", "Sneaky Trader" bin.

Surely it's nice to have some balanced views?

iamrich - this seems like logic to me rather than "deramping". Just over a week ago we were at 6.3p with people saying it would be 7, 8, 9p "any day now"....and yet here we are at 5.3p, because we haven't had a positive RNS yet. Is what Doc83 says really too hard to grasp?

Tattyhead - you weren't there so your comments on last years AGM are worthless. I look forward to seeing you at this years one.

I do, however, agree that a scenario whereby nothing of note is said tomorrow and then a token gesture (be it a small reduction in salaries or getting rid of a "sacrificial lamb" to save cost) is announced as a way of softening up investors prior to the AGM is something that wouldn't surprise me.

In that scenario, rest assured, I won't be partaking in any cups of tea or selfies. Come along - see for yourself. People can be quite ruthless when they're 6 or 7 figures down....

I will certainly be one of those at the AGM, Prof. I'm not sure if toppling RM is the correct way forward as yet, but he will won't get an easy ride if we've been served nothing but vague fluff tomorrow.

I do hope to see more people at the AGM this year - Doc83 and I somewhat hogged proceedings last year (mainly due to asking lots of questions from people on here, it has to be said); and getting a message across is much stronger when it comes from multiple sources. We have a great range of viewpoints & personalities on here, from those who quite literally would like the BOD's heads on pikes to those who, although deeply frustrated, are more pragmatic...it'd be great to see everyone there and able to say their piece to see how the BOD handle this scrutiny. I will then feel better able to judge whether this is a company going somewhere or whether to cut my substantial losses and invest elsewhere.

Well, from my little straw poll yesterday from Mani's post, most people thought Option 1 (which surprised me, I must admit):

1. There will either be an update with substance and a detailed forward looking plan..
With confirmation on how we are going to be funded!

Or

2. The looking at our options and we are all working at haste roll out story!

WOS - just wanted to clarify who it was that was pushing it as urgent, as it may not have been clear to people in your post.

Anyway - hopefully it won't be long and lets just wait for the RNS.

WOS: "Urgent" is MBs words in the RNS:

"We are pushing for the matter to be brought to cabinet urgently in order to allow in-field activities to commence to make the Heron 1 well ready for production."

Just because they are pushing for it urgently doesn't mean that it will be treated urgently. In any case, for the Mongolian government the "urgent" pile could be things needing to be done within the next 2 years...behind the "very urgent" and "extremely urgent" things.

However.....it is just a signature, so hopefully they won't keep us waiting too long.

Another bit of friendly advice to WOS: Maybe limit yourself to 5 posts per day, making it really quality information in each.

40+ posts, 4 hours into the trading day, on a day where there's no official news or meaningful SP activity is excessive to say the least. Any news or research you do post is buried amongst so much rubbish that it gets lost.

MrCosts, make your mind up - only yesterday you were telling us that we would be "massive" on Thursday. Do you no longer have this positive outlook?

Agree Mani...if the outlook or "forward looking statement" is a regurgitation of what was said in RMs New Year message...which itself was a regurgitation of statements made in RNSs going back to at least September 2022, then it won't look good at all.

Time for some positive news, and if there isn't any then it's time for decisive action to reduce costs while they search for that positive direction for the company.

I'd manage your expectations MrC. I'm expecting it to be largely underwhelming. Cash situation as per what we already predicted and "we're still focusing on the most expeditious route to bring SNG001 to market, even if that takes until 2137".
