I think I’d simply ask, why?

Why go to the incredible hassle of producing 200 tonnes of fuel at QRF (not an easy feat!) transport by road etc to Antwerp? All parties would have to agree to this taking place so why not simply sign the agreements and do it all via Mac2 facility? There’s no benefit I can see in doing it clandestinely.

I do think her move to this route could be relevant to us but until there’s agreements in place I don’t think anything will happen of a significant nature. Mac2 can do a little prep but without agreements there’s little else to be done.

Somebody has to produce the fuel, would the existing QED/Cargill/Mac2 agreements cover this? Probably, but JM said preparatory works on site has been Mac2 only, QED equipment is not on site as they’re awaiting the other agreement.

Only other option is QRF who really don’t have the output capacity/storage/logistics etc to meet even a single refuelling for Leandra which is hundreds of tonnes.

So the only way fuel can be available is if QED somehow fitted their equipment without telling us. I find that highly unlikely.

I do think the shift of route for Leandra is significant. Hopefully agreements shortly and PoC/ lono underway asap.
