My post from Friday. This is being heavily shorted in the US just now guys and the Shorter is working incredibly hard today as well to keep this down. Fridays Shorting %age was 18% of total volume in US. One day last week it 30% of total volume and the days of the 2 RNS’s last week it was 21%. It looks like they are using and Algorithm Bot to keep this down.
It will stop eventually (when order is filled) and this will rocket.

Just noticed a brief exchange on Twitter regarding the Short Selling volumes discussed on here earlier.

If anyone can take comfort from it, apparently large firms like JPMorgan (for example) will short sell a stock in order to keep the price low while they accumulate stock to fill a large buy order. That would certainly explain the large 20-30% short volume %ages in jmfw’s link earlier.
I do take some comfort from this as it shows the lengths some are prepared to go to get a large slice of this.

With any luck they’ll fill it soon and we can move back to somewhere resembling fair value.

MrNinja, this was out first thing this morning on VOX, so they have waited at least 7 hours. This isn’t price sensitive anyway, but the BoD can release news (particularly price sensitive news) any time they like and use the Duel Listing as the reason.

My email to Dr Shailu on Thursday said exactly that. Releasing RNS’s at 7am creates a gap up for the Shorters in the US to Sell into. I suggested the next value enhancIng RNS should be release when both markets are open.

Nicely timed this time, just before US opens.

Maybe Shailu DID get my email the other day lol.

Still at across the pond I see. 18% of Fridays volume over there was Short Selling.
What is significant is that even with that level of Shorting, SP still rose 6%.

This is what it’s going to be like from here on in guys. You need to get used to it because the free float is so small now. MM’s will do anything to get your shares off you.

To open a a spread bet on IG there is now a 12p spread (138.5p to 150.5). They know what’s coming!!

I’ve thought about this a lot over recent months since this StemPrintER reared it head, however, both Gabe and Shailu have done umpteen interviews and TILs have released several RNS actually referring to Oncotype DX by name, and claiming STem out performs it by 40%+. It would be incredibly naive and extremely dangerous from a legal perspective, for them to do this if they were not 100% certain of its capabilities. If they had been less forthright or specific about their claims I may have been more dubious, but they have gone straight for the jugular from the get go, which gives me huge confidence in what they have here.

This is a screaming buy at this level imo.

Good chat today tho guys, and somehow I feel even more relaxed about this, knowing now what I didn’t know this morning. This is being worked like a goodun, and for whoever is doing it, the ends will surely justify the means, financially.

As you say Greend100, there’s nothing we can do about it. The markets are rigged, but I hope by highlighting it, it gives a few PI’s some answers as to what is happening here, and the wherewithal to hold their nerve in the face of it.
We’ll have our day, but it’s certainly not an easy watch. The fewer people who capitulate the harder we make it for them.

As mentioned before, free float is only 20m (9%) and that includes all the shares held by everyone on these boards.

So this IS being Shorted now JohnHenry? Has the “big seller” gone now?!

I suggest as many people as possible email TILs via their website and highlight the link and data in jmfw’s latest post.
We’re a sitting duck for Shorters in US right now and until they get burned they’ll keep going. Why would they stop?

Thanks for sharing jmfw. Those numbers are off the scale in terms of short %ages. 28% short volume on day before Stem Cut Off RNS, then 20% on the day and 21% yesterday. It was over 30% in early September. No wonder we can’t get any share price traction on this.

I actually emailed TILS in late August suggesting they release the next “value enhancing RNS” when both markets were open, for this very reason. I felt that any increase in UK and subsequent pre market increase in US was allowing shorters an easy target rather than trying to catch them on the hop.
I didn’t get a response and the company didn’t change tact, obviously and unfortunately.

On the plus side, if this doesn’t move up between now and Record date, there will be zero downside adjustment for StemPrintER demerger. Win win imo.
