This is far easier to Short right now due to incredibly low volume. Bit of a double edged sword at the moment unfortunately. Volume is low because it’s being Shorted (putting people off buying) , and because volume is low it’s easy to Short. We need a couple of blue days in a row to provide confidence, and then volume will increase exponentially imo.

20% Shiraz, on a volume of 220k. Wasn’t really watching the Nasdaq last night but it did spike about hour before close, then obviously fell off again at the end.

The bottom line is, there is enough cash to run the company for a further 2 years (or near as damn it). If the BoD have not made significant progress by then to render our current cash balance irrelevant, then we will have far bigger problems than whether our $5.8m will last 22 months or 24.

The following is from the 9th April update which clearly states they are still working on cost reduction measures, which is why I stated in my earlier post that I excluded the first half of this year from my calculations.

“ Each Director has elected to take 50% of fees or salary as share awards rather than cash. In addition, some staff will be released, others will be moved onto consulting agreements and additional costs will also be reduced or removed from the business. These actions will decrease annual running costs from US$4.5 million to US$2.5 million whilst maintaining our experienced, high quality and operationally excellent team who are focused on creating significant value through project delivery.

The wording in yesterday’s interims (and the language used during the presentation a month ago) is completely different because the BoD are now using past tense i.e. the cost reductions have now been implemented. You are completely ignoring this in your latest post and in your “projection” yesterday.
It’s nothing to do with me being “Mr Positive” or putting my fingers in my ears, it’s about carrying out a simple calculation correctly, using the information we have been supplied with. What you are doing is making up your own numbers, ignoring what the BoD have told us, and deliberately imo, putting a negative slant on things, as you always do.

It has been a busy six months for the Company as we continue to progress our pipeline of drugs to treat rare cancers and difficult to treat autoimmune inflammatory diseases.



Tiziana is set to sponsor a Phase II nasal foralumab trial in Secondary Progressive MS Patients treated with Ocrevus (ocrelizumab). Clinical protocol for Phase 2 nasal clinical trial has been finalized and submitted to the FDA along with the Briefing package on July 22, 2020 requesting a type C meeting. The FDA response is expected back by mid October , 2020, with a clinical trialanticipated to begin in 4Q2020.

The Company is working with investigators in Brazil who will conduct a clinical trial in COVID-19 patients with nasally-administered Foralumab to evaluate its ability to suppress inflammation in the nasal and respiratory tract, the primary sites of Covid-19 induced inflamation. In view of the importance and urgency to develop an effective therapy for COVID-19 immediately, the Company, scientists at the Harvard Medical School and the scientific team at Santa Casa de Misericórdia de Santos Hospital (Jabaquara, Santos, Brazil) are working very quickly to start this clinical study in Q4 2020.

Upon successful completion of Phase I trial in healthy volunteers using our novel oral enteric-coated capsule formulation of Foralumab, Tiziana is in discussion with CROs to design and conduct a Phase II clinical trial in moderate to severe Crohn's disease patients with orally administered foralumab.

Tiziana has expedited its clinical development plan for its anti-Interleukin-6-Receptor (TZLS-501), a fully human monoclonal antibody, for the treatment of COVID-19 patients. Since April 2020, it has signed agreements with four contract research organizations ("CROs") to initiate GMP manufacturing (STC Biologics), develop inhalation technology (Sciarra Labs), conduct inhalation safety toxicity study in monkeys (ITR Laboratories Canada) and initiate a human clinical trial in COVID-19 patients (FHI Clinical). The Company intends to initiate the clinical study in Q1 2021.

Looking ahead, Tiziana is confident that it is well positioned to advance these programs to their next respective value inflection points.

I’ve explained this to you before, but for you, and the other hard of learning on here I’ll go over it one more time.

We’ve been told umpteen times (as recently as a month ago) that cash burn is $2.5m per year (1st half of this year excluded while cost cutting measures were taken). At 30th June they had $5.8m in the bank, with 6 months left of this year, we MUST assume the BoD aren’t lying and we’ll burn through $1.25m, which, according to my abacus, means that come 1st January they will have $4.55m left? (Does your special calculator tell you differently?) are you with me so far?
$4.55m therefore equals 1 year and 10 months (roughly) which takes to October 2022 (2 years from now).
Which part of that don’t you understand? Lol. Which ever way you cut it it most certainly ISN’T “less than $4m at year end!!

Furthermore, cash in the bank is basically utterly irrelevant at this point, as it’s clearly not sufficient for Morocco or an additional venture (Those will require further forms of funding so will not come from this pot of cash), so it is ONLY there to pay the bills for the next 2 years, nothing else.

I really don’t get why you keep making such a big deal of this (and funnily enough to the downside, shock) and overestimating cash burn and underestimating cash in bank.

Cash in the bank is enough to cover a further 2 years (at least) at current cash burn rates. Not sure why you continue to make an issue of this and continually overestimate cash burn.

Seems pretty constant just now with regards short %ages on total volume on Nasdaq, HOWEVER, overall Short Interest dropped 24% to 277,000 (from 366,000) at close of play last night (See link) which suggests the bulls might be winning. One swallow does not a summer make, but yesterday was a good start. Even though the Algorithm Bot was on yesterday (still on the sell side) we still went up over 10%, so either whoever is running is content to let this begin to rise slowly (aggression level turned down) OR the are running out of shares to sell through the Bot and they just can’t hold/suppress/manipulate this any longer.

The free float must be almost non existent now so when volume picks up, this will absolutely rocket imo.

I see Nasdaq finished up another 8% post market last night, not 3% as I first thought.

Just a point re Shorts/Algo-Bot. They are 2 different things guys.

The algorithm bot (100 & 200 trades) are not the Shorting shares imo. As far as I am aware we will never see “shorted shares” any differently to a normal buy or sell (they could be any number or value). The bot will be using “real shares” 100 and 200 at a time, either buying or selling (although in this case selling) to manipulate or control the price.
