P.s. COPL placed at 20p recently.

COPL is a good example of what happens when the churn is done. They had a great RNS yesterday, a spike, then a fall back to only finish up 15% on the day.
Churn looks done now and it’s up 25% so far today.

Another huge volume day on the cards by the looks of it.

4.5m in the first 20 mins.

Current share price is now officially ludicrous lol

16m traded in the first 45 mins.

Lots of the placing shares being offloaded for 80-100% gain early on. The churn will slow later this morning and I think we’ll see a steady rise over the rest of the week.
I’m expecting a minimum of 20p (in short order) on this mornings news.

Someone on Twitter saying finncap brokernote just out with a 54p target.

Fantastic news this morning.

Congratulations to everyone here, particularly those who have held through the really tough years. Personally been in this share for over 12 years now, holding all the way up to £3 and all the way down to 1p.

Looks like we are about to have a significant return on our investment.

True Soup, although all they have to do is break even on shares sold over a 20 month period to turn this into a “no lose gamble” so certainly no requirement to sell all 5.5m every month.
I suspect (taking into account the gifted 7.5m shares) they will, without even trying, be able to retain at least 50% (50-60m shares) for themselves and still pay NFX what they are due, by holding off selling any until the 3p area (I appreciate I’ve simplified that calc, but you get my drift?)

The other alternative is Lanstead know/feel they have secured 100m+ shares for an absolute steal at 1.5p (25% discount to the previous placees, who also saw value at that 2p at a higher risk with less knows) and will hold on to ALL of them until Either fair value is achieved (based on current knowns), a takeover happens (significantly higher than we are now) OR a deal is struck which catapults NFX into an entirely different price bracket.
Let’s face it, a £1.65m investment for Lanstead to own a 15% stake in NFX at 1.5p+ isn’t high risk for them imo.

22m from the 1st Subscription, plus an extra 2m on the open market, giving them 24m. Doesn’t surprise me at these prices. If people are stupid enough to be selling down here, others will take advantage.

Actual Bid & Offer both creeping up slowly now, but MMs in no rush to move the advertised spread just yet.

Agreed Filter. I can’t see it going below a penny, but I’m not particularly adverse to the idea.

As far as I’m concerned the price has got so ludicrous now, it’s pretty much irrelevant whether it’s 1p, 0.5p, 1.7p or 2.3p. If it drops further, and I’m in a position to do so, I’ll average down further.

Not sure about the rest of the day, but Buys currently going through at 1.1635p and Sells at 1.15p.
When the advertised spread is 1.15 / 1.25p it puts a massive skew on the buy/sell volumes today..

They make the same %age margin, but the higher the price the higher the monetary margin.
So, yes, it’s in their interest for the share price to be higher.

But you agree that the higher the share price, the more money Lanstead make, and that it’s not in their interest for the share price to fall, because that would mean they earn less with each tranche of shares.

Why would Lanstead want to sell shares at 1.2p and make £16,500, when they can sell at 2p and make £27,500??

It’s in everyone’s interest for the SP to rise. This deal is NOT like CLNs where the number of shares produced is infinite.
