Yes you did dejjas, and fair play to you for that. You also mentioned something about “making decisions and accepting profit and losses in equal measure”, so a little less ‘I told you so’ and bit more humility, wouldn’t go amiss.
My average is 3p so I’m comfortable, however others may be less so and can probably do without people like you rubbing their noses in it.

An update for the sake of it is not only pointless, it would be detrimental to the share price. Imagine you get your wish and they put out an RNS telling is they’ll give us an update in October!! What do you think that might do to the share price?

MrJinx, calm down dear, you’ll do yourself a mischief!! My calculations the other day were ENTIRELY dependent on a quick drill. If you hadn’t been so busy firing abuse and jumping down my throat, you might have correctly read my posts. At the time of posting on Wednesday, you were absolutely adamant that the cash position post drill would be $10m and that Chariot would have to raise cash!! I merely pointed out that if we drilled at the same rate as Cormorant we would save a significant amount of cash and a raise wouldn’t be needed. As I said then, you need to look at the bigger picture sometimes.

For clarity, my post has nothing to do with Market Cap or SP. I’m saying that Chariot have significantly more cash in the bank than they anticipated they would have at this stage, following the Prospect S drill, and have ZERO financial commitments for the foreseeable future. There is no need to raise cash through a share issue any time soon.

I explained to you the other night that Chariot will have significantly more than $10m in the bank if the drill time was significantly less than anticipated. I see you’ve added an extra $1m today. Is that a typo or are you just going add $1m a day till you get closer to the figures I mentioned on Tuesday?? I’ll say it again. Chariot will have approximately $17m In the bank after this drill imo and will have NO requirement to raise funds any time soon.

What BS would that be Goofy? I’m only stating a couple of facts. I can’t, for the life of me, imagine what an “investor” would have against that?? I’m not ramping, just stating facts. Gooner, just what is your agenda here?? I just don’t get what you’re about lol. Just to put a little more meant on the bones of my last post, for the hard of understanding. Cormorant Drilling and Evaluation was expected to take 34 days to drill to a TD of 3850 meters, and actually took 23 days. A saving of 11 days at £x daily rig rate. Prospect S Drilling and Evaluation is expected to take 40 days to drill to a TD of 4500 meters but is in a water depth 1000 meters greater than cormorant, so drill depth is actually less than Cormorant. Assuming Prospect S is a Duster and drills at the same rate as Cormorant, Chariot will save at least 18 days at £xxx Daily rig rate. I’ll let Goofypete, Howler, SheiteMoves and MrsMinx hazard a guess as to the saving to Chariot in this scenario. Of course, Chariot might need the Rig for 40 days, for whatever reason!!

Tullow took 17 days to P & A Cormorant instead of the 30-35days they anticipated “operations would take”. Chariot have anticipated “operations may take 40 days”. They will only require the rig for 40 days if there’s something to look at (penny dropping yet?) so there is potentially a huge saving of the well is P & A early. If Chariot need this rig for the full 40 days, there is most likely only one reason, and it’s not because they’ve hit dust. Growler, good try at attempting to cover up the most farcical question of the day - “when do Chariot start drilling lol (what a 🤡 clown). No ramping from me, just a smidge of knowledge regarding what I’m invested in.

Totally agree NewK. Those suggesting there is no correlation between Cormorant and Chariot are wrong! There is little or no geo correlation, however a commercial hit by Tullow and Namibia is on the oil map. The herd (as some like to refer to them) will not necessarily do detailed research, they will look for next drill and next big opportunity in the region, then look at size and COS, then add 2 + 2 and not necessarily work out the answer before jumping in. This looks good for a move up from here imo. GL all.
