Agreed, nothing not to like about the RNS. Lot of deliberate negative spin such as:- market does not like 342bpd (average during test period of 31 days)), give it a rest), SS has not put his own money in, and a lot more besides. Hold tight I say, if i had spare cash then I would have bought some more. Horsehill is being proved up quite emphatically, current well is vertical, eventual producing wells will have horizontal completions with greater productivity. We have heard multiples of EWT figures. Let the engineers figure out what is required. No water, bottom hole pressure showing no signs of decaying., KL3 and KL4 to be tested as being one unit. Amazzzzing...what is not to like.

Hi Oakleak, we get a warm feeling things are looking very promising and RNS will drop when the Horsehill partners agree on claims to be made. We have been told KL3 is probably connected to KL4. Based on eyes on site KL4 testing has started with pressure test completed. SS will want to be bloody sure of the technical details before launching the mother of all RNS. He may need to refer to Nutech and Schlumberger to review the test results and see if they are in line with their reservoir modelling. I am not a reservoir guy but I am trying to be realistic on when RNS will drop. Could we see a suspension if the news is likely to result in a significant rerate? Just IMHO. :-)

Oakleak, A bit late in the day, but been visiting elderly parents (98 and 89 years old). Have to make the most of this precious time. Anyhow, the Doria series has continued. All will change with a stunning RNS. Hopefully the two interventions were as suggested by others, recovery of downhole gauges. I am looking forward to tanker traffic this week. GLA.

The Xodus CPR of 2018 makes brief reference to Kimmeridge, not on our books....yet. Will Xodus be able to complete the reservoir assessment without Nutech and Schlumberger support? Will we get the CPR before Xmas? Not meant to be negative just trying to be realistic on time scales.

I am invested and keen to get through the posts. Last night there was mention of a new entity registered 'XGB'as being part of Lionsgold. They are looking to improved branding, 'XGB is quite catchy. Those suggesting long road for planning approval are simply trying to drag the price down, sowing the seed of doubt.

Atomicrain, so what production rates for wells completed horizontally? I don't think the potential here has not been fully disclosed. We will know soon enough. Once the resource has been sufficiently well understood only then can a development plan be finalised and this will set out the number of wells based on multiple well pads etc. So HHDL want to into production next year but could well be approached by those with deep pockets perhaps with encouragement from the government.

You have to laugh at the crap being posted. Two tankers spotted allegedly! Like the faked moon landing. No means of getting oil to market... Numpty. Various concepts will have been evaluated already. Not an issue, yes complex but not insurmountable. Bubble point concerns in tight oil... Has not stopped big oil in North America. Is Kl4 to be tested this year..... Of course it is. Kimmeridge already priced in..... How stupid is that? Hold tight for prize.

Jptop7, the possibility of amalgamation is interesting. SS is taking out smaller holders and Solo who clearly need the money. A unitisation agreement could be an interesting avenue however the CPR is not yet known for each of the licences so my guess is that this would be very difficult and may get nowhere. Not being an oil deal making expert I do however see the advantage in having fewer entities for a major oil company to contend with. It is interesting that Cove Energy had an 8.5% stake in the Mozambique field and PIs did quite well out of the auction. Exciting times ahead although there are a few on the BB that will paint a darker picture on a canvas the size of which we still don't know. With the number of tankers, heat haze, choke opened up, the indications are very encouraging and we haven't started on KL4. As the irrepressible DL has stated the Weald story is only just beginning to be told. He will not be fobbed of cheaply.
