Why are the holding back?

Good post, how about the multiple for pharma that has been mentioned before by others. That would make it very attractive. Say 5 fold. Once sales numbers and other news come out we will seeing £5 +. The weekend BB was full of crap from derampers, rampers and all it took was a Times article to kick this off for a Company that clearly has a great product(s) and just needed additional recognition. Then Directors chip in. Perfect. Now sit back and watch. I am knew here but if when it pops will do well. Let us see where this takes us.

We have WHO recognised testing capability, we are struggling to hire contact tracers, we failed to test people entering the country, perhaps we simply think we know best. Trump is a buffoon but US has clearly decided on testing as an essential prerequisite for lifting the lock down. Where are BoJo and Matt Hanxxck in this regard? ThermoFisher gets a fair bit of plugging and hopefully this gets NCYT sp a massive boost. Interesting few days and weeks ahead.

That is a ridiculous argument. MMs are keeping the volatility going, looking after mates and all those other reasons. The sales news is due to land within days so a takeout prospect at this stage is low probability. More facts to support share value need to be available for scrutiny. Perhaps CEO is playing a blinder and will release the critical news by 11 May as stated. The more you read and hear about this pandemic you realise that we are clutching at straws for a cure whilst also realising that testing is fundamental for our continued economic survival. Then that leaves NCYT in a pretty good position. So, as others have said we need to sit on our hands and wait a few weeks / months to realise the potential. Another RNS will push this up a bit more, more likely each piece of news is likely to further consolidate this stock.

Just lost an elderly relative. Admitted to hospital and tested positive for COVID. She lived on her own, has had no contact other than receiving online shopping completed by us, no going out. We seriously doubt the validity of the test conducted... Not sure what product was used. Many questions raised. NCYT product seems to have the stamp of approval so one way or another it will do the world some good. Volume production is the key here, so tie ups with GSK, AZ could achieve this. TF under licence. Altruism aside PI has invested here to secure family futures in a very uncertain and fragile world so nothing wrong in making a decent profit from this amazing NCYT. It would be terrific if we see the shareholders prosper rather than the big boys.

Frag and others, the last line of your post suggest a takeover wouldn't be bed outcome. I guess it would down to fair valuation. Don't want bully boys walking off with the golden goose! Whatever happens this looks like all should do well. The question is how well?
