So what kind of settlement do we need to at least break even? In my case, my average price per share is/was 0.0037 and with approximately 16 billion shares out there, that would mean we need approximately 59.2 million pounds or 77 million dollars. Let’s say we have agreed to pay the Geogians “their” 70 million dollars, plus we owe Hope 30 million pounds or 39 million dollars. We owe BH for their work (my guess is say 50 million dollars, but who knows!), court fees say max 10 million dollars.
Anything or anyone else ?
I make it, using my dodgy maths, around 250 million dollars that needs to be awarded to us (or that we are able to sell our remaining assets for) for us to break even (admittedly using my average share price rather than anyone else’s...).
Any thoughts? Have I missed anything?

You may well be right Aurora. Or possibly BP agree to sell their Russian holdings to a Russian entity as part of the deal. I know there’s pressure on BP from the Americans to do so anyway.

A few thoughts about Zaza and the timing of his interview.
We were originally led to believe that the Georgians wanted 99% of the block and that that we had counter-sued for 3.5 billion. Now Zaza has stated that the Georgians only actually wanted 70-80 million and we never wanted anything at all.
So what if we did actually get told the correct information all along , but a deal has since been done. Part of the deal may be to make it look like the Georgians have almost got what they always wanted, say 50 million dollars. Maybe Zaza agreed to go out and essentially sell the deal by laying the groundwork for the Georgians to be able to claim success and save face back home?..... And FRR would be happy to have finally rid themselves of this mess.

You're right of course Sandy. Hopefully fairly soon the MMs are going to be desperately short of stock in VAST as everyone piles in. All it will take is one really good diamond RNS.
And PS - well done for keeping on fighting the good fight on LSE. I post rarely here now for VAST, but do look in most days. I've moved on to the Telegram VAST group these days.

With regard to bought and sold numbers, I presume laster is referring to the fact that the buys and sells are carried out by an intermediary ( the MMs ) on our behalf. So laster is saying that those sales resulted in a net excess of shares being retained by the MMs.

I like that “all issues” post too Bugsy. Great find - keep up the good work. It does seem that both sides are engaging in political posturing right now: with the workers being used to highlight FRR’s shortcomings and the US politicians being asked to highlight the damage done by the Georgians to the FRR business. None of this would be taking place if everything had already been stitched up. Everything is still to play for. It reminds me of the last few days and hours of fighting that always takes place just before a truce is announced after a long, protracted war. Both sides try to steal as much ground from the other side as possible, as they know they’ll get to keep what they hold after the truce. The question for me is who are all these public squabbles designed for and aimed at? The Arbitration panel? The 2 governments? FRR and GOGC? Time will tell, but I still check-in to this bb everyday and I am still hopeful. GLA
