You say that this is all in the public domain but for all of us in the UK, we only have snippets and hearsay available to us. What we need is a definitive statement from the company, giving reassurance that this deal is indeed going to take place, with potential timelines. B-2-0's past postings have always suggested a certain amount of inside company knowledge, as stated by TSBS this morning (from memory). His latest post is very positive and when read alongside his last statement about us all getting shares in FRUS, makes me even more confident this weekend. Fingers crossed we will get some kind of official news before Christmas. GLA

That certainly makes me feel happier this weekend (particularly as another share in which I have invested heavily is approaching break-even as well!). Perhaps there are grounds for our optimism on FRR after all. GLA

Sorry erazzel but that's far too cryptic for me after a long day at work..... Good news or bad news? I suspect I'm not the only one who has got a clue what's going on. When I first read the document I though that sounds like the Georgians are changing the law to help out small US mineral producing companies.... But what do I know!

Thanks for all the posts over the last 2 days: I’ve been away with work which has made it tricky to respond. Seems the consensus here is that the latest California shenanigans may be good, or may be bad, or most likely we just don’t know!

I reckon the only way to get my head round this is to draw up a big timeline on a huge board, with events and relevant parties shown, a bit like the police do when trying to solve a murder. I assume that’s what Madpunter is doing, as otherwise it’s all too confusing!

By the way, the LinkedIn link doesn’t work for me, but then I’m not registered on LinkedIn so can’t be sure if it’s just me. Has this also been changed since Devex’s post?

Does that imply in your opinion that the GOGC are trying to help Hope by having Levan investigated by the US courts? Do you believe that the GOGC are trying to weaken our hand in the arbitration by muddying the waters with regard to the court case? I’m just trying to understand your logic. Sorry if you have already explained this.

If they were just simply playing for time, waiting for money to come good, then all of the shenanigans make perfect sense, assuming of course that the money does eventually come good. You have to ask whether successful businessmen would have gone down this road if they could end up fined or in jail. It doesn;t sound likely and that is a reason for us to believe they all think that it will come good.
If one the other hand, these same shenanigans were as a result of their incompetence/greed/willingness to lie to every one, then it looks very bad. For instance the replacement of our legal counsel, purportedly twice, in the recent arbitration process, is a concern.
That's what this now comes down to, and it always has been. Either its the master plan theory, or we've been taken for one very expensive ride.

The as yet unseen Texas documents are interesting. Perhaps for Hope they are one last roll of the dice before he loses the chance to secure any money. Whether that’s because there is no money or because he can’t get his hands on it, remains to be seen.

Why would recently released employees keep quiet? Loyalty? NDA? Cash incentive to keep quiet?
And why would FRR insist on them keeping quiet? If all is lost, they’d be unable to pay the hush money, as put simply there would be no money to give.
