Why, oh why does the presenter have to spend vast amounts of time showing off what bloomin' car they drive? Posing by it, walking round the thing, and driving it. Drives {sic} me mad. Yes I'm interested in the subject, but stop thrusting you phallic substitutes at me all the time.

That is of course ignoring lots! It assumes that the costs can be assigned on a per person calculation. I assume that there are some set up costs which don't change (or change only slightly) regardless of the actual number of people.

Yes there will be a saving, but without a shed load of information, we have no way of working out how much.

Do you not realise the massive effort needed to get a phase 111 trial underway? Trying to do this in a pandemic, at the point where hospitals are under increasing pressure due to the new variant problems, and trying to do all this in a hurry to address the pandemic.

You can have as many as you like, you just can't pay in more than the limit (£20k) in total. In practice you'd only put new cash into one I guess.

1) If you really want/need to transfer, then you have to do as they say.
2) why transfer at all, just keep both holdings as they are.
3) If/when you need to top slice or take out any profit, do it from the one you don't need.

Do remember that back in the 90s the gold price was somewhat different. It was around the $380 mark most of the time and falling towards the end of the decade.

It is possible that they stopped drilling as they had reached a depth beyond which the economics of digging/drilling deeper didn't makes sense at the time.

Interesting that something is being done there - but I would have thought this a bit early to start expanding the footprint just yet. There's plenty more to come from HAV itself. Just wait for Artemis to report their border activity, I would have thought.

Joey you miss the point of this thread - now this is in place the whole focus will shift. This is not a 'how effective' argument any more. Now it's a 'how do we get this out' and the 'what next' arguments.

To illustrate, this reported on the BBC this morning:

UK shadow health secretary Jonathan Ashworth has reacted to the approval of the Oxford vaccine on Twitter, calling it "good news" but urging a quick rollout.

"We've seen how more virus circulating means opportunities for variants to emerge. This is now a race against time,” he wrote.

"We need vaccination ramped up, especially for NHS staff urgently."

Focus has moved already.........

The Oxford vaccine approval is good news, but good for us too.

1) This is the one with 100m of pre order agreed so we have the required critical mas to vaccinate.
2) This takes the pressure for approval of other vaccine candidates < important for us.
3) The focus should now change to twofold. Getting the vaccine distributed and used. Sorting out the hospital overcrowding problem caused by the new variant. < important for us.

It's still going to take time to get the vaccine delivered and used, so the attention will have to move to therapeutics and dealing with long covid. Hopefully we can produce something pretty soon on the Home Trial (interim results?) which will help steer the conversations in our direction.

I see this a real positive for us....
