I'm pretty sure that GH and his team are itching to put out an RNS on SWAG. They have seen the drill head data and know what is there, but need the official assays to be able to publish.

GH would love to give us all his parting xmas gift, but if the assays haven't come through, nothing will happen.

@Bamps, if they are drilling the famous five to find out if Kraken and Blackbeard are linked, then they are looking for this information (OK, sounds silly I know). But, this level of investigation implies that they have had very good information from the other holes and already know both are likely to hit. I.e. it's not a 'is there gold there?' it is 'are our two gold deposits one massive deposit?

Fascinating weekend reading (and watching) on this thread today. I am learning far more than I ever expected from simply making an investment!

It does remind me of one event in my business life. Trying to explain how the insurance and reinsurance market worked for a middle american company's executive when illustrating how his new Worker's Comp coverage (involving and offshore captive in Bermuda), his eyes glazed over. He said "wait, stop. Just how many goddam people am I paying here?". Priceless.

I guess the big lesson is that it takes a bit more than a couple of enthusiasts with a 4x4 and a detector or two to make a fuuly functioning gold mine.
