My thinking is along the lines of this drug was developed for COPD / Asthma, so was originally targeting chronic and long term conditions. That will need to be picked up and progressed sometime - but may well have positives for LC as well.

'O' level Biology understanding only here (grade B, as was), so may be getting too far ahead of myself!

Does that 'at any stage' include existing long covid sufferers? If it works for them as well, there will be a massive long covid problem in the US to solve!

I suspect that there is a bit of a drag on the price from traders. A fair few bought in soon after the placing at the 160 - 190 level and have been sitting on losses ever since.

Some are keen, now, to get their cash out so they can chase other rainbows........

I would imagine that they have a rolling dataset that gets added to for each new participant. They will need to monitor constantly in case of any adverse events that would force a pause/halt in the trial in any case.

So, as soon as the last results are in, it's just a case of hitting the button and finalising the report. I would guess.

It's even possible for an interim report anytime too.

So you have built up a nice pile, along with potential CGT liabilities (when you sell, obviously).
The plug gets pulled and you still own your coin but are unable to trade (due to regulation or whatever). Bitcoin becomes valueless as it can't be traded.

Now, if you still own them and they have no value and you can't sell them, surely you can never use the loss to offset against any other gains you may have. You can never crystalise your loss as you can never sell them. A nasty sting in the tail.

I know @millie. But we do have the luxury of the NHS, thank god.

Ok, then - is true, then now try and tell me the SNG pricing is too much (what was it £3,000)? That's for a treatment, not preventative vaccine that may need a booster every year and might or might not work with some/all mutations......
