4th April, funs your full allowance plus whatever you draw last year into your ISA. Use Offset mortgage/overdraft/granny?whatever funding source you can get.

6th April draw down what you need to repay the borrowings.

Each year you are building up accessible limit in your ISA. When you can get hold of your 25% tax free, it can ALL go into your ISA and you can achieve tax free income. Your SIPP can continue to fund your ISA each year as well as service the income up to your personal allowance. Work it out properly, you can have a very nice tax free income and no worries! Sssssssh.

Don't go complaining to MPs. The last thing we need is the body politic waking up to what a mistake the flexible ISA is (for tax raising). Just use a provider that does allow flexible ISAs.

I'm about to put my SIPP into drawdown and look forward to a happy retirement. Over the next two/three years I will have a few projects to sort out, House/car/boat etc. I need to fund these from income and my ISA, then at the tax year end, I can make one drawdown to 'replace' the ISA funds used and top up to the max allowance. If it looks too expensive on tax for the drawdown, I'll simply arrange an overdraft from the bank to 'replace' my ISA, then draw it out in the next tax year to repay the overdraft. This way I keep my full allowance plus what I now have in my ISA.

You point this out to them, then we are all buggered!

@Kenneth, this is where the real value is realised!

A company raises capital by issuing shares. You have seen this with the recent placing for the £87m to kick off phase 3. An AIM company is normally set up as it needs capital for whatever shinny thing it is going to produce. It is high risk.

For SNG, we have climbed the hill and are now standing on the plateau high up there. We only have 200m shares in play. Lots are in Institutions and with Private hands that know what is coming. There will be liquidity problems for new buyers (Good for us). Likewise there is no need for further capital nor any further dilution of shares.

The cash needed for P3 was done, it is funded. At Home has completed, just the final results awaited. ACTIV-2 in the US is Gov. funded there. We are on the cusp of achieving sales with the income stream. SNG has been recruiting the staff for this. IMO it will be an impress number of sales. There will be no further need to raise capital, the company will transition to an income producer, with excess cash available for further development and/or dividends.

This is what will attract big pharmas. They are always on the lookout for a cash cow. If it comes with long term prospects too (COPD etc.) then they run around like a bunch of meercats trying to out play each other.

HL is fine for me , both SIPP and ISA.

On the lookout for a sensible time to move my ISA (to IG probably) as HL don't do flexible ISAs. It will make sense for me to be able to 'replace' any use of funds from my ISA , as well as using the full allowance. Can't do that unless you have a 'flexible' ISA.

Otherwise happy, and will keep SIPP in HL.

With the new man, I've sort of pencilled in (in my mind) that we will keep and mine these ourselves. Probably not straight away, though.

I'd love to see a five year plan from Shaun once he has his feet under the desk. With Hav turning to a long term positive cash flow, there has to be an investment strategy in our assets. More exploration/drilling, obviously. But a plan for Firetower etc. more exploration and/or mining? Divestment, in a market where the gold price is expected to increase, may be less attractive.

It's all they have, for now, to spend some cash and show their people that they are doing something. Assuming our P3 works well (it should) there will likely be a FOMO battle from various governments.....

I read that bit too, it hit my senses as significant as well.

I think the key here is the 'and manage the administration of...'. Delivery is not a problem, a tie up with a reliable courier will do that. The Amazon threads are interesting in this context as we get billing (to customer and/or their medical insurance?).

The 'administration of' is very interesting to my mind. I'm thinking along the lines of a clever leveraging of our experience from the At Home Trial here. The how and why of getting a sufferer properly medicated and monitored (administration in it's full sense) without the need for an expensive hospital interaction. The obvious benefits of reducing potential further transmission is key, overall cost will come into play too.

As long as they don't outsource the nurse call centre functions to india we are Fine (I can never understand the calls to/from them).
