@sidekick, you keep popping up with this! It's very simple. There are two trials ongoing at the moment.

WE (SNG) have a P3 trial running worldwide (20 countries) focused on in hospital patenients.

The USA has a trial (ACTIV-2) running, of which we are only one of the drug participants. This is in their (not our) control and is focused on at home / pre-hospital patients.

Each is separate, different people in control, different patients.

Quickly walked back, but not denied or confirmed.
AGM references control of ACTIV-2 is their baby, not ours. So they make announcements, we will follow afterwards.

Now, a betting man might say that our AGM being done, now clears the way fr ACTIV to confirm or deny the Castro leak.

I've given up using normal measures. My Sipp is now measured in real GGP and GGPeq (The eq are the dividends and other shares I can reasonably trade to GGP in the short/medium term).

@Brand, no CEO has a business plan to be taken over. Therein lies disaster!

If you are waiting for a takeover bid, you will take you eye off the ball and will make mistakes.
For me, I want my BOD to use all the company's assets to the best advantage and to enhance shareholder value over time.
We seem to have a very active and engaged BOD who are doing exactly that. Yes, there may be a bid sometime, but SNG will be in a strong position with the management in place to fully market our drug. This will be an additional asset available to any would be bidder and it has to be value enhancing.

@Treacle, it's more of a rumour unless and until formally confirmed or denied by NIH. As such it isn't price sensitive information available to the BOD, simply a rumour.

Synairgen did respond, however through Twitter. It's what I call a 'soft RNS' - informing on something outside their control and which they are unable to manage. Yes, it may be influential on pricing, but a rumour doesn't always force the company to issue a full RNS.

I did like the 'soft RNS', though! Lots of lines to read in between....

The satellite images help illustrate what they are up against. The nice shinny white roads ave been done for a reason. Copious amounts of waste rock from the box cut has been used for this. Much easier to drain and maintain as opposed to cleared compacted dirt.
