I think you misunderstand the bond market and what happened.

Bonds were being sold - forcing an increase in borrowing costs for the US. This due to the US becoming an unstable partner. The safe haven was no longer US bonds.

He was expecting us bonds to be the safe haven producing lower borrowing costs to the US - opposite happened. T'was predictable, but his simple understanding of how things work failed him.

Well, that's the thing with wannabe US dictators....... they can kick him in the bond markets - hard!

At the point an importer (into the US) finds it is uneconomical to import, he will stop. It's quite simple, really.

How it is done will be decided at the time, rest assured all the costs will be taken into account and cost (including import duties) will be minimised.

For now, we don't have a product on the market, so there is no import duties to worry about!

Auditors do not run the company. The do not 'sign off' on future evants/cashflows. That is firmly the province of the BOD and the company's business plan.

Auditors simply check through the accounts and certify that the accounts are correct at the time. Just a check on current assets and liabilities.

This signing off on 12+ months of future cash is total rubbish, a complete invention to make up some FUD narrative.
