Oh dear...
On a buy out in the money options get bought out as well as shares (you still have to pay the option price) so they don't lose them, they are not leaving the company... It's just that the company has a new owner. All benefits etc continue as before for all staff, including time served for pensions etc. etc.
Please stop posting nonsense - do a little research before...
Er... The option will cost the same (10p) whenever they exercise them (as long as before expiry). It would be nonsensical to encourage take up of options prior to a significant re-rate. Once the price has risen, fewer shares will need to be sold to cover costs and taxes.
You do need to know how all this works!
Obi-Wan: 'This is not the RNS you are looking for'.
Storm Trooper agrees.
My phone went ping - I did a little dance, then looked. Back again tomorrow?
Oh, OK. See you all tomorrow, then.
Is it today?
They (and the fool) are only there to get the uninformed to click through (for ad revenue) and to subscribe. They don't care about the quality of the information they put out as long as it produces the required traffic. The have a lower content of truth than a DJT rally!
Avoid and don't waste any cash by subscribing.
Madmen?
That's a whole bunch of maybe's.....
One thing is for sure, they can't go touting any price sensitive results/information at JPM if it hasn't been released to the market. So a late intraday or after hours (uk time) RNS is possible today.
Just be careful you don't get spiced!
A Thursday RNS in early January would be just the ticket....
I am so sorry to appear so moronic, but the 23rd of Feb is not a Monday. Also the 20th Feb is not a Friday either.
If you mean the 20th Jan, that is mid/late January.
Thanks @jezza. This moron read and understood that RNS as well.
So.... the announced early January date fell out of your bottom.....
That's the RNS the rest of us are expecting.
Thank you for being so up to date on the information put out in the company's RNSs.....
Oh that's very clever. It seems the 2nd (hidden) RNS on only available to true LTH's..... Interesting reading too.
Hp for me please.
3rd (with a close second being the 4th) is my guess.
I read the first paragraph plus a little bit. Decided that it was a highly politically motivated document, so didn't read any more. Deleted.
How would you manage the announcement of a transformative cancer drug? One with worldwide implications for oncology and also for the potential financial effects on the market.
You don't just put it all out there in an RNS just before the christmas/new year break and hope that all the important people you need on board are paying attention.
Seems to me that they have come up with a pretty good plan. Have set up a series of events designed to engage all the people that they need to.
Today's RNS is simply waving the look over here flag, very loudly.
Once new year is over another RNS and release of important data will be the 'I told you so' RNS.
There is then a few short weeks for the PR machine to do it's work so that 23rd Feb is fully attended. Full release of data and the RNS to end all RNSs, maybe?
They also need time to engage with and spark interest from the various government agencies worldwide (FDA etc....).
Looks to me that they have put in place a carefully thought out plan of action.
We have the look over here RNS today, I will be keeping my eyes out (on stalks) for any/all news from about AVACTA. They have started the ball rolling.....
You don't need any money at all, all you need is a licencing deal where you retain ownership and someone else has to put up the cash to get it to market and pay you for the privilege...
Methinks that someone forgot to unclip the travel safety lock on his balance! Either that or he/she is balanced against what???
