So there is a group of investors happy to cover the upcoming payment with a small raise.

Why not raise enough for the next, say, 4 payments (full year)?

Did they offer more?

Is AVACT expecting news that will make the remaining payments seem cheap?

If (big If) there is a deal in the offing, it may (or may not) require the Heights issue sorted. If so there will have to be negotiations over clearing this at the same time as the hypothetical deal. In this case Heights would be aware of a deal soon and might not sell this time round in the knowledge of a potential price uplift....
