Around this time too, should we expect an update from GGP on the Juri JV (and/or any of our other prospects)?

I'm more of a watcher/reader these days. rarely post any more. Too much disinformation from the the great unwashed on here.

Luckily I am capable of critical thinking and can easily spot and ignore what they post. Research and fundamentals are my brain food, the rest just gets rejected.

I can see Hav as a separate company working, but I doubt that NCM will let go of Telfer now.
There is too much opportunity in the region for other meaningful deposits (elephants) to be dug up! Telfer could become the main processing hub for the district through which everything has to flow.

I'd be really happy if they decide not to mine for whatever reason... Telfer, without a supply of ore, will become a real burden for them. The remedial costs to close it down will be immense. We could then pick up Telfer and the rest of HAV for a nominal sum.......

There would have been due diligence for the bonds, you don't just give away cash if the company is about to bring out bad news.

Doubly so as the retiring 'principal shareholder' for Launch will want to ensure the potential earn out part of the deal will work over time. He/she would also have had to be happy on cashflow projections and growth prospects....

Read between the lines, stop tying to spin a negative that doesn't exist!

There is this in the aquisition RNS :

" Key management of Launch Diagnostics will remain in place with the exception of principal selling shareholder who will retire and will be replaced by a Managing Director from within the business. "

So.... maybe this deal just fell into their laps? The principal shareholder wants to retire. Cash plus earnout deal done - no paper.... Looks like a too good deal just before 6K readout, perfect timing and of real benefit to us.

It's good, better than our own at home trial, and excellent that this was done by NIH. With NIH showing a move to stage III, then the likelyhood of a US based broader Phase III trial increases IMO.

Only if the assumption that all works well and there is a pile of gold at the end of the rainbow. A few more hoops for us to jump through before a buyer will be confident enough to put up lots of cash/shares etc.

For now, the canny ones will simply use the markets to lock in this exchange rate for a while..... They only need to worry about exchange rates for any cash element - any paper they issue is little affected by exchange rates, they just have to show the deal makes sense on balance sheet (more reason to get ducks lined up first).

The pension credits only bring you up to the current pension level, done to help out the poorer ones on the old system.
If you have paid off your mortgage, then that outgoing is no longer there, but you can't avoid rent if you don't own your own house.

Yes there are better off people, no system is perfect, but this year there are a lot of people who have no choices left.

The current full state pension is £185.15 per week - some £9,600 per year.

Now consider that most pensioners only have this as income. Only the £185.15 per week! Now you go and try to live on that with fuel costs increasing as they have..... This is life and death for some, heat or eat, you'll die of one of them if you can't afford one.

Lets see you get furious about people dying because furious taxpayers think they are doing most pensioners a favour. Jeeezzzus.......
