You can be sure it has all been costed on the basis of the company accounts to date only. Any extra from the 5% will drive additional exploration, but not until the ink is on the page (and the cash paid). Just imagine that SD commits to a plan in contemplation of income to come, which hasn't been agreed. What will happen then if NCM says 'no thanks, it's too rich for us at the moment' and we keep the 5%, but have now committed to expenditure for which the income has evaporated?

It's clear there are some dreamers here who have no idea how the fiscal responsibilities of a BOD work.

Thanks @Bunky, but 'twas not with the rant against IFAs. Completely the opposite in fact, I was trying to clarify that an IFA would be a better bet than asking a friend to ask an online forum for advice.

The anti IFA rant came from a particular poster who is happy to use the outdated Bernard Manning type ****** humour of the 70's (and then try to excuse it as banter).

Next week will be interesting.
Monday is Memorial Day in the US, so their markets closed (so there can't be any announcements re ACTIV-2).
Thursday and Friday are bank holidays (Jubilee weekend) here in the UK so markets here will be closed.

If anything happens, there will so little time available for the markets. Only two days for the wider markets to play so could there be higher volumes with a week's trading condensed? Who knows.

If we get an announcement late on Weds (ACTIV? Platform Trial? JV?) then we'll have to wait until Monday next to see the full reaction......
