Well, all I can say is that:

As a director, we were unable to select our shareholders.
As an investor, I am able to select the companies with directors that I find competent.
As an investor, I am unable to select my companion investors.

Wow, selecta. I'm from an Insurance background and I can guarantee that no insurance company will cover fraud from a director! Do you really think you can become a director, have the company buy an insurance policy, do whatever you like and walk away unscathed.

I have never seen a Directors' and officers liability policy cover fraud or wilful misconduct.

If ever I come across a company with you as a director, exec or non exec, I'd run a mile.

Oh please! Do try and understand how companies work..

As an investor, when looking at a prospect, I look carefully at the BOD first. I focus first on who the Non Execs are first for very good reason. There are many companies started by enthusiastic people with a good idea/product but little experience. If they select the right blend of experience, market knowledge, technical knowledge and market contacts then that is massive plus.

These people are more than likely at or near retirement anyway and wish to put something back into the industry that have worked for all their lives.

A correctly set up BOD, including the NEDs is essential for success.

Now, please stop these politics of envy, try to understand what a massive benefit this man has given you, the shareholder.

Some are too quick to judge here. You don't know his personal circumstances or what he needs the cash for.

What you do know is that he still retains the bulk of his options, didn't cash all that he could have.

Besides 1.25m shares vs the total number in issue is tiny. Not worth worrying about.

It appears to me that governments have fallen into a sort of vaccine roulette game.

Placing their bets on all and every vaccine just in case they have their chips on the one that does work. The trick is how do we change their mindset more towards effective therapeutics to allow sensible vaccine development over a longer period?
