With the gold price projections, such mixed ratings, and NCM's potential growth (UBS gets it!). NCM is the takeover target, not us!

TT it is highly unlikely.

To negotiate a comprehensive deal that covers all the bases and allows both sides to justify their actions to their respective shareholders is very, very difficult. Possible but very time consuming and difficult, especially at such an early stage of development. In 10 years time, more likely. But now - extremely remote. SB/GH have much more pressing matters to occupy their time.

Even if you could negotiate a deal, bear in mind the existing Farm-in deal. It is good, excellent in my view, but events have overtaken it somewhat. Nearly three years of the originally anticipated actions and spend has been condensed into around 14 months. We are now talking about declines and potentially getting some ore out via an exploration decline before stage 4 of the agreement. Nothing has gone wrong, it has just moved faster than antiipated.

Would you ultimately sign off and convince your investors that all bases have been covered? how quickly would you destroy your career if you are proved wrong after a short period?

No. I say. It is the most unlikely scenario. Technically possible, but highly unlikely.

The true value is what the 'sell up and buy a nice shinny thing' brigade don't yet understand. Hav's value to NCM's balance sheet and share value as a tier 1 asset (additional to Telfer) is far beyond the actual value of the gold in the ground.

We should be able to extract more than gold/copper here!

That all depends on what is agreed. if both sides are happy with their 'price' then there will be a deal. All this 'NCM will buy us out' mantra is not correct UNLESS we agree.

The price may well include protections against the value of HAV increasing beyond that on which the deal is based (much like if you buy land in the UK and agree to pay additional amounts if you get planning permission within 20 years or so). There may be an ongoing royalty to cover any loss in income we will receive over time, maybe even with protections for further increases in gold price.

There is so much that can be done beside the cash out and run that some people advocate.

Why sell of an throw out such a valuable asset without gaining full value (which includes future potential and further satellite discoveries i the Hav tenement)?

There cannot be a buy out of Hav without both sides agreeing to it. It cannot be forced by anyone!

Lets try and make this simple.

You have a nice shinny thing that you like (a classic car perhaps) I like it also and want it, so I offer you some cash for it. You turn it down and say that your shinny thing is going to increase in value so you want at least 6 times my offer. Too much for me. No sale.

How on earth anyone can believe that NCM will simply buy us out is nonsensical. They cannot force us to sell and cannot force us to agree their price. If we do agree their price, their board will need to justify their decision to both their shareholders and brokers/analysts on a normal business ROI basis. If they can do this then, by implication, we have agreed too cheap a price.

GGP happen to own part of the mine and receive an income from Newcrest. No mining from us needed. No problem

GGP can now afford to prove up any other prospect(s) they have without having to dilute shareholder value. Magic!

GGP can even pay a dividend. Double magic.

The sell up brigade can either sell their shares (value underpinned by GGP's asset and income potential) and buy their nice new shinny thing!

Real investors can enjoy the dividend income as well as potential from other prospects without further share dilution.

It's called creating true shareholder value.

If you sell your only income producing asset, distribute the cash via a special dividend (which is what most of these posters advocate) you have no asset, no income = no value. Share value = sod all!

You now need to issue even more to raise the cash to continue prospecting other areas.

Maybe keeping NCM as the mining team and using our 25% of the Hav returns to fund both a dicident and all our prospecting will be best in holding shareholder value.

Simpe economics 101.

Keep dreaming. Actually the most unlikely scenario. NCM cannot just buy the other 25%, GGP have to agree to sell. I vote no. I think you'll find long term shareholder value will mean our BOD will also vote and recommend no.

Covid19 spreads very quickly and easily. Just popping down to buy a magic packet will not help prevent the spread. Perhaps you should be properly tested, have it delivered and practice the sensible preventive measures too.

The magic, caped crusading, box of stuff is only a small part of the whole answer.

Some do tend to over hype things.

In reality, to defeat the pandemic (and any other future easily spread similar virus) you need to use all available means and ways. SNG001 will only be but one part of the full solution.

1) education, education, education - are the three best weapons.
2) the basics we can all do; masks, hand washing, social distancing, limiting interactions with other when not needed etc.
3) a vaccine will only be useful for those not yet infected, but how effective will it be? how many can be produced and distributed in a given timeframe etc. i.e not a complete solution.
4) therapeutics, including SNG001, once infected.

All will be needed to reduce the opportunities available to the virus to spread, championing one solution as the caped crusader of virus response is a little irresponsible IMO and may well be counter productive. A general doesn't go into battle without all his available tools!

It has to be said that, a canny web designer, would place the 'sell' button exactly where it would be needed to click on when confirming a sell - spot on where the mouse already is.

This is highly likely to catch out the unwary (and IMO daft) people who try dummy sells. They get not only the transaction fee for selling, but also pick up the transaction fee when the hapless individual buys back in. Not their fault, you confirmed the sale!

All a bit silly to a) try a dummy sale or b) try one with your complete holding.

Not something I would ever contemplate.
