With all the various component parts that Avacta has on the go or there technology could be adapted for, you may well have backed a winning horse that whilst a little slow to gain momentum, may well romp down the home stretch. For those disappointed with no rns this morning, review your research and why you are invested here. Great time line sign posting by poster Orphidian. For those who unfortunately keep predicting a nailed on rns, give it a rest, as per A previous poster, when it does not turn up you shake the faith of the nervous and add fuel to the fire re those who may not have the best interests of Avacta at heart. Nobody can state when any rns will arrive, either ramper or deramper. We can however do our research and make our best judgement. Mine is this test is needed more than ever globally at present, so I hope we are getting closer by the day to a working model. Regards & gla

If you numbers stack up by the end of 2021, I and a few others will owe you a considerable bucket load of beer, which I am sure would be welcome in this weather. Re the end, there appears a few grumbles re the test not being further along the line. For any who still have doubts despite the obvious rapid progress made, I suggest review Alastair video from yesterday, that should tell you the objective for Avacta is to bring to market a very high end test. Thus far the ceo has signposted everything (cash raise aside) and imo has continually delivered. What’s not to like? Regards & gla

I am here for the longer term myself, and really want news of progress as much as anyone however sense checks along the way do no harm. For what it is worth those expect any significant updates from this evening’s presentation I feel will be disappointed. A week or so for news yet. Gla

Dr S your recent post about some of the most successful investors being those that are dead, has tickled me. I would like to think I will not end up as the richest person in the grave yard and have some time to spend my money when Avacta reaches it’s potential. Adam I do however very much agree with Dr S, as the amount of times I have become impatient with an investment only to see it rise considerably after I have sold, has happened more times than I care to mention. Research the company make your own judgment and if you believe in the reason your bought in, when you see the share dip, review your research again to see if anything has changed. In all likelihood it hasn’t so your judgement was correct in the first instance. I believe in the long term potential of Avacta but over the last few weeks I have reviewed why I am here to reassure myself when the share price has heavily pulled back. My conclusion this is a great place to be, but please make your own decision. Nothing is guaranteed but this has the potential to serve you well. I am not one to predict future prices however I wish you and all other holders the rewards for staying the course. Regards & gla

Happydays couldn’t agree more, whilst I have personally reset my expectations for this share, as the owner of 2 companies and with a responsibility to my clients and staff who are customer facing, I would love the Avacta test to be made available to me tomorrow. I will be a purchaser if/when they make it work & bring it to market. This really would unlock global economies. Whilst those who are not invested will tell you we have missed the boat Covid imo is not going away. Fla

Mnnyamu2 - good luck to you and all other holders, time to reset the expectations/price as to exit strategy, assuming we get the news we/most here are looking for. Imo still great potential here and as I am not a trader I have bought into the long term potential, although would probably de risk if I get the opportunity. Time will tell but let’s hope its not too long before we have further positive up dates. Regards

Enjoyed that post and probably sums up Aim, fortunately I collected a load of monkeys at a low price, but it has been tough watching the share price over the last 3 weeks. Still here however for what I now see as a long term play as opposed to get rich quick. Hindsight is wonderful but should have top sliced @ £2. Lesson learned profit is profit and don’t get too greedy. Gla

@mickey I have also lost a significant six figure profit on paper, following the share price carnage of the last couple of weeks. I was however fortunate to build a large holding with a decent low average. It has been a tough few weeks however I am sure far tougher for those who joined the party at £2. I have revisited all the reasons I invested here in the first place, and having done this I still believe in the Avacta story, however my strategy is for a long hold. For those that came here late research the potential the business has, and stick around. Not advice just imo. Regards & best of luck to all holders

@alwayswinning, you may have a point in so much going back to the presentation in may, I think AS thought they would be further ahead by now, something indeed may not have exactly gone to plan. However people seem hung up on this ready by “summer” date, as we do not know enough about Covid yet, second waves already happening, virus potentially mutating into other strains, there is every chance it will still be somewhere in the world next summer still!! If you are a short term trader I understand your concern however look at the wider picture, if you are a long term holder then chill, if you have another agenda, then ignore my post as it won’t matter anyway. Hmm to call this man a thick head ??? Not sure that many would agree with that. The other side of the coin, as per s3po, could be he is not only a very astute scientist but also a businessman who had taken the Covid interest in his business to fully fund the company and its main project ie cancer therapy for a number of years including various projects. People potentially now need to review why they are invested, ie short term for a quick win, or long term for serious money. I will be in the latter category. Regards & gla
