Thanks Taverham, I have retained a nominal holding via HL platform in case any sort of vote was offered. Again I think the play with HL as with standard life and other institutions would be to challenge how comfortable they being associated with this debacle, ie reputational damage. Evening I had a sizeable holding through my Hargreaves account and to be honest had not even thought about contacting them. Thanks for the suggestion as I feel the more we can attempt to influence major parties the better. I am not convinced they will get involved as they are essentially just a broker, however I think the bigger picture here is the unethical and questionable practices carried out by the bod, and in that respect every financial institution and investor as well as the regulator should pay attention. Hi Taverham thanks for the heads up re Standard life, I will contact them myself and would encourage others to do the same. Now hoskings have taken up the challenge I feel it would be foolish for them to remain silent sitting on the sidelines and risk reputational damage. Perhaps they just need a little more pressure from us pi’s

I agree with your post all investors who have been impacted by this robbery should make their own individual complaint to the fca etc, and also email hoskings offering support for the action they have taken. It would be really good if standard life came to the party as far as I am aware no rns to say they have got rid of their holding. Purely to protect their own reputation as a fund manager and custodian of clients money, they should imo be seen to take issue with the actions of the bod in this mess they have created. Reputation in their position is key to client confidence to sit on the sidelines and doing nothing is not a great stance imo. I suggest all on this board also email then asking for them to lend their support. Regards

Above is another quote from the article on sky news!, ie sell your shareholders down the river and we will reward you with a job with a big fat salary for your troubles. Folks this is great news however let’s not stop our own work in this, if sufficient pi’s get together in numbers it will add weight to the case. Hopefully Hoskings lead may flush other major shareholders out and get them to rise to the challenge. Regards

Agreed, I think the lack of communication from institutional investors who are still in this share beggars belief. It does pose the question do they know something that we are not aware of? The whole lack of information and rns connected to this ongoing saga does not inspire any confidence whatsoever for the normal pi. I guess time will tell however I have never see anything like this in over 30 years of running a company and investing. Regards

Bid on what exactly? as I understand it the deal is done, all that remains of what was Flybe is a shell with very little in it. Unless the transaction can be blocked the family silver has already been sold off. If anyone wanted to block the deal in the table announced last week they should have already challenged it ????

Your comments are very valid and I am sure given the path the board have taken knowing they have bent all rules of corporate governance as far as they can, they have taken in depth legal council. The issue may then be who can find any holes in the way they have operated which I concede puts shareholders on the back foot. On a positive note some of the work by individuals on ‘this board over the last couple of days is to be applauded and appreciated. From a starting point of running a business ethically and within the laws of said corporate governance, I feel the Flybe bod have failed spectacularly. If this can happen with Flybe other unscrupulous boards can replicate this. To change anything there always has to be a landmark case. I for one am in for the longest haul to seek justice ideally for Flybe Shareholders but if not change things for others. Regards

Hi Taverham, I am happy to have a look at this over the weekend I do have quite a lot on this weekend however I can certainly start the basis of a draft frame work, and then others could add in, with there own points of view. Clearly using a collective approach even trying to reach out to multiple MPs would make some sense. Regards- will catch up tomorrow now as going for a well earned pint and to turn the clock back a week and a day when I was optimistic about my Flybe investment!!!

Your point about each shareholder contacting their local MP is well made. Whilst the muppets who supposedly run this country are quite busy at present most MPs would be used to dealing with matters in a local basis only and therefore it can lost. On the assumption that shareholders the length and breadth of the country are caught up in this if we complain as a collective there could be a chance of putting this on the radar of multiple MPs who may then take an interest. MPs who represent areas where Flybe staff are also impacted should get involved in this. I feel there may be some traction in this approach to support other action people are taking. Happy for other board members feedback good or bad. Regards

No vote has been offered to any shareholder, this is why the change from premium to standard was pushed through as it let the bod sell the family silver without a shareholder vote. Clearly they had the course of action that has unraveled and robbed many a shareholder in mind last year. The events that have played out have been planned for sometime imo. The ethics and legality of what has transpired here needs to be what complainants focus on. Facts and reasoned arguments supported by the work that some on this board is the way forward. Regards

I think you will find that scully got out on the day the virgin interest was confirmed and the so rose by circa 70%. I stand to be corrected however following the rise from being very proliuon this board he disappeared. Probably to count his money? Scully i am sure you must be watching with interest perhaps you could confirm?
