If pianista is correct re hoskings lawyers then it would be good to let them know (if they don’t already!) that there is a ground swell of pi support for any challenge/action against the board. I have no wish to teach you to suck eggs, but any progress you make, an update would be much appreciated. I genuinely wish all holders in this share all the best re making profits whilst the opportunity exists, however could not risk more capital having been burned once. Watching this from the side is doing my head in, had I the balls to gamble, could have recouped my heavy losses. For those still invested don’t be too greedy!!

I agree with your post earlier with Taverham who I have exchanged email addresses with. This bb has lost a bit of its mind today, following days of good debate and fantastic work by the likes of tav & ox42 etc. Some of us a sat on very heavy losses and quite rightly in my opinion looking for answers. I have emailed Chris Grayling my own MP & Hoskings as well as fca and sfo and my own broker. Imo we are stronger as a collective and whilst it would be great to piggy back a hoskings challenge for justice, I also feel as pi’s we need a plan b. Again I feel strength in numbers. Happy to debate sensible options, outside some of the stuff that I have seen on here today. Regards

I have also emailed hoskings offering my support and applauding potential challenge. For the pi’s among us it would obviously be easy to ride a major investor’s coat tails. If not there is strength in numbers and I feel there is plenty of us who have a vested interest to work as a collective. In the meantime the roulette wheel on the sp keeps spinning??

I do feel your pain, every time I look at this feckin share I think what if!! Just come out of a meeting and now back above 4p Arrrrrgh. I am however with others on this it is moving to fast and could go south very quickly. I will not risk any more on this have kept a few shares in case we ever get any sort of vote, although on what I have no idea. By very careful my friend I have looked at this as well and had I the balls to buy in last week at the levels you sold at I could have recouped all my considerable losses. Beware however as I could have also doubled my losses which would have made me even more pi—ed off. This is now a game of roulette, so please beware. Best of luck

The whole thing is absolutely bizarre and I have not seen anything like it before, neither would I want to see anything like it again. Hence the need for detailed scrutiny of what actually went on. Again irrespective of which side of the fence people sit on this, none of us at this stage actually know the facts. Hence the need to flush them out by whatever means we can try and influence. Folks irrespective of which side of the fence you sit on this one I would like to think we could all agree that the events that have unfolded in this debacle are highly unusual some might say irregular and therefore warrant scrutiny. If you were short or long on this believer or doomsayer, as investors I would like to think we could agree that the actions taken by the bod potentially set a dangerous precedent that others could follow if there is no legal challenge. Time will tell but for those of you who comment only option available to save the employees, imo you are much mistaken. This will be a blood bath for employees if this deal concludes however for the sake of the employees I really hope on that point I am proved wrong. Re the employees that is called showing some empathy for their position, for some on the board go and look up the meaning of that word!!! Regards

Hi all - I have received an acknowledgment this afternoon from the fca - primary market enforcement division which advises my complaint will be considered with a response in due course. There is some great work going on by fellow aggrieved shareholders on this board and for anyone who is yet to take their own actions I would encourage you to take others lead. Momentum and maintaining this is key to ensure all this effort is not in vain. I am in for the long haul re trying to secure answers and justice. Regards

Having lost a substantial amount of money in the blatant fraud that has happened here, I do not expect to recover any of my losses if I am honest. The action taken by the bod however cannot be aloud to go unpunished, and there must be a serious investigation so this can’t be replicated again. Personally I hope they are prosecuted locked up and they throw the key away. Over a week has now passed since this catastrophe unfolded and I am still fuming. Like others on this board I will not rest until justice is served. All pi’s need to stand up for the little man!!. Regards

Hereshopin. Whilst we are at odds on the true value of the business which is another debate, your point about shareholders not having known the true risk of this share, due to the company financials is key. The bod had a duty to the shareholders and the general market to be truthful about the company financials. Clearly they have not and have then concocted an elaborate way of pushing a deal through which no doubt in various guises includes a financial benefit for them. This simply cannot be allowed to happen for fear of setting a presidence for another bod to act like this in the future. I am sure had many shareholders known the true position of this company they would have got out before this catastrophe happened imo. Regards

Good news that some of the press are putting a bit of focus on this today. I would encourage all shareholders to keep up the pressure via the various channels and suggestions that have been made in this board however, to ensure this does not become yesterday’s news until we get some form of justice. Sorry have to respectfully disagree with your last comment. I think the collapse in confidence was not down to the bod recommending a 1p offer, it was down to the level of the offer itself. Many had assessed in detail via their own research the estimated value of the net assets of this business, based on supposed accurate company accounts and information and rns etc that was a available for public scrutiny. Imo the true state of the co financials had been hidden by the bod, but obviously made available to Stobart and virgin hence the bid. It will be interesting to see what hoskings or others make if this, as if they have completed their own due diligence before taking a holding in Flybe they should have been privy to the true state of the co financials. I met with a leading fund manager recently (won’t bore you why) and they spent 2 years completing due diligence on a specific holding they wanted to purchase before they invested. I can only draw the conclusion that the bod of Flybe have not been truthful to both institutional and pi investors about the real state of the company financials. When they opened up to bidders the truth came out hence a 1p bid. That having been said if you look at the assets of the company and the leverage they had with options to refinance 1p is a joke. If this deal is allowed to happen imo they offer price is circa £30m under valued. Biggest case of asset stripping with dodgy practice under the public eye I have ever seen.
