Latest news about the poor effect of a potential vaccine. Even the pharmaceutical companies who are developing them are losing hope in their efficiency and have already concluded that they would need to give multiple does PER person. A near insurmountable task. This is yet further evidence of the now rather extreme need for SG001.

Cases of people getting Covid-19 for the second time are appearing all over the globe - latest in the States - and shows that that the effect of any potential vaccine would only be temporary (as little as 3-6 months). Even the WTO have now admitted it. Not to mention a potential vaccine won't be available for another year most likely according to the Astrazeneca director - who have the lead vaccine, and they have also denied that they will seek a EUA (or fast track of the vaccine).

The WHO also say there is no evidence supporting the use of convalescent plasma.

There are now 6 different documented strains of the Covid-19 virus. Even if the person who gets the infection for the second time would be asymptomatic - they are still as infectious as the first time and will drive the infection cases up on a global scale with rising death tolls to follow.

Due to 'vaccine nationalism' the pandemic will also last longer as there will be a vaccine shortage in many countries (see notes).

The most effective treatment is now seen through therapeutics where Synairgen have the safest and most efficient documented option with SG001. Not to mention that it is only one of several critical uses for the drug extending it's use far beyond the Covid-19 pandemic. The possibilities are near endless for this company. And very exciting from an investor standpoint. I think we have some extremely interesting (and profitable) weeks ahead with multiple updates. May is the 'complete study end date'. 31st of August is the 'primary study end date'. It means they get the main data of the primary end points on or before the 31st and will then let us know.

Well I'm excited for the upcoming week. We are invested in a great product that will save lives and benefit us financially - I can't think of a better thing to be involved in. I think people know now that it is the last chance to get involved before the next RNS hits. This thing is going straight up and I, for one, would not want to miss out.

ChrisToffer - I know the difference between the two - what I am saying is that there will be news on Tuesday according to the clinical trial deadlines, IMO.

Graham, nothing was expected today. Check out the links I have put up. They state that results are due on the 31st of August. If it hadn't been for the bank holiday we would be getting the news then which would have been the last day of August but now it looks like we will be getting it on Tuesday instead which is great because it allows for a nice week of the SP rising.

This states that the primary study results are due the 31st of August 2020 which is Monday. Meaning today is the last day to get on board before the news hits. I've been on a number of clinical trial sites from around the world that also confirm a 31st of August date. It would also confirm what Richard said about results coming in August. Looks like a tasty Tuesday RNS then. Or maybe even a midday RNS today. Either way I am happy because this is going straight up. I think we'll see a nice rise of the SP today in preparation for Tuesday RNS.

1522 new confirmed Covid-19 cases yesterday in the UK which is the highest number in a 24 hour period for months. The second wave is here and it is getting worse daily. 4th day in a row that the UK have over 1000 new infections and are already fully in a second wave. Add to that the 2nd wave increases around Europe and especially Italy where they today have the highest number of infected in 24 hours that they seen in the last 3 months (1210). Vaccines are far away. It's clear that Synairgen is the most reliable and proven option out there. IMO.
