As said before, FP and Dippy, guessing the correct answer and being proved right doesn’t make you smart - just lucky.. that would be admirable if you’d even shorted and gained financially from your decisions. But just repeating the same nonsense over and over for no gain or game is bizarre. No facts, no information, no logic ! Only conclusion is that you are working for others with something to gain. This is another example of either ignorance or fear mongering. The company does not necessarily make a loss after interest and German Rail. Where it has made a loss is Impairments. Generally a paper loss but a bottom line statutory reported loss never the less. There is more of that this year with NASB and potentially WeDriveU and uk. The cash profit underlying is still positive, hence the ability to service debt.

A capital raise is neither needed or likely at the moment unless there is something in the accounts we are all unaware of. There is enough cash in hand from NASB sale to repay due debt for the next 2-3 years. IF the business units can all return to small profit and Alsa keeps profit momentum then over the next 5 years the Hybrid can be re negotiated and or repaid from CashFlow. That puts the business back on the same or similar terms as historically and therefore a recovery. As others have said we can’t base judgement on what we don’t know. Problem is over the last few years the management have been economical with truth regarding the state of the play. If there is a recovery in the next year or two the. That may be the time to raise and complete debt refinancing early.

I’ve been here for a while and listened to the arguments both sides although the shorter have offered little in the way of facts but can crow about being right as history has proven . I strongly believed in the business and still do but not in prior management who either did not have a grasp of the reality or misled. That is undeniable. The business still has potential but it will be a long slow climb out of it can keep delivering. Cash today is still enough to keep things going but the debts are large. Any small hiccup at Alsa will be game over. Banks can smell blood and we all know how they work. They will not be supportive without proof of a turn around and soon. There are lots of unanswered questions still. If we don’t get taken over we’ve got 12-18 months to start delivering and then 5 years to recover. IMO etc.

From the delay, I assume we can take it that Q3 on its own isn't going to calm market nerves and they need to sugar coat performance with some positives and lay out the future potential. Not having an auditor in place is a big concern given they have known they needed one for close to a year.

The problem with FirePower is not that he says sell it’s the fact that it stated with no argument why. Just rampant deramping. Company performance has been dire, that is a fact bit FP has no facts, just nonsense. Who knows where this is going. No news is going to cause uncertainty. We’ve had no good news for years. Lots of doubts remain and we are wide open for someone with cash to take the bits they want for pennies on the pound. Management have misled for the last few years. New management have last chance to start to put things right. Is there enough to drive a recovery? Complete unknown. This is a punt now. I’m in same position as others that I am only here for recovery or bust. Likely neither will be the case though and we will see a deal out together by Cosmens to take it cheap and with it any hopes of recovering.

FP - as you have a failed memory, I will say again, I don’t post what I buy or sell or at what price. It has no value to anyone other than myself. I don’t care whether you’ve lost or made £3k or £300k. I’m only interested in discussing the facts and news around the business as it helps balance my personal views. Your unreasoned ranting only comes from a place of personal dissatisfaction and add no value to anyone and only serve to annoy and alienate every sensible person on the board. So no I won’t share with you or anyone else as it’s irrelevant. A bit like yourself.

Lucy - FP doesn't have a position. Very strange person who is only here to spread negativity and fear when stated as having no position. Wants to see others and the company destroyed because he lost £3k and blames the management and thinks his ranting "...sell this dog..." will force the company into bankruptcy. Perhaps Im wrong and he's here for the good of the people and wants to genuinely only give us the benefit of his financial advice !

I don't care and it has no relevance what you or anyone else has made or lost on this or any other share. This is supposed to be a place to share information and ideas. Why you stay is here is of no use or value to anyone, just weird.

I don’t agree — markets and shares move in cycles, and sentiment tends to swing too far in both directions. There have been problems and volatility, but that doesn’t automatically mean there’s “..more down side to come...”. Is this a buying opportunity? all depends on your time horizon and risk tolerance.

Selling in panic usually benefits those waiting to buy cheaper, not those selling out of fear.

Stick to facts for a change (which is your problem as you never offer any) not ramping or your de-ramping — sensible investors know that patience often pays off - certainly more than panic selling!
