Why the big dumping of shares today ? Someone shorting the share ?

Can someone with clarity just remind us all exactly what potential sum of money Novacyt will get in total including interest charges and other money put to one side for an outright win of DHSC case .

I would suggests to anyone looking in and thinking , don't think , but just start buying these shares up now before they start going up. Time is ticking as we move closer to June 2024. Only 3 months to go . I would not be surprised if we get another acquisition within the next 3 months.

PI100 , the court case will definately be in June 2024 , unless the DHSC agree to Novacyt's terms before than. Time is now ticking. People are now going to start putting money into this share , the SP will gradually start to pull away and approach £2 the closer we get to June. And when we win the DHSC case , and hopefully the BOD of Novacyt have got another acquisition or two ready , which will generate further revenue income . Then we will see the SP relate to £5+ and more depending on the acquisitions and contracts won by Yourgene.

PI100 , why don't you average down. You could put enough in here to probably get it down to less than £1. And then you could bail out with own your money intact when we win the DHSC case . With me I had an average of £6:10p with £660k invested , so to average down less than £3 would be adding huge amounts of money. At the end I got it down to £3.40p

Neilrich , please do not put my LinkedIn details. I hope and pray this SP does bail me out. I have put my money and have faith . Its a huge amount of money I have invested.

I have been waiting last 8 months to average down , was hoping it be 40p so I could buy. The two occasions it did go down to that levels I just didn't press the button. Today finally took the risk and put £50,550 . I have now around 209,000 shares . Average £3.40

Today I have averaged down to £3.40p . I have invested around another £50,300 . You will see the two bulky buys . Those are mine. I pray I have done the right thing.

Yet no director buys . Clearly they see no value in the investment as yet . I think to myself what is going on with the BOD and how are they going to save their shareholders who are ruined with the current SP.

Can anyone copy and paste what TW is actually saying about Novacyt. I am not a subscriber of his articles so have no idea what the content is.

CaptainSwag if after dispute , even if we have a favourable result , you are suggesting there would be a mass exodus of investors like yourself .The SP will crash won't it as a result ?

Looking at the details this is how committed JW is in protected share holders

He has invested a total of £27K of his own money into Novacyt shares and has around 43,800 shares in total.

No wonder he is not bothered about us investors losing money on this share. He has only put down £27K of his own money . And this guy is the chairman of Novacyt who dictates strategy of the business.

PI100 is right in the sense that the BOD have not protected shareholder value . The only significant achievement in helping the SP over last 2 years has been the acquisition of Yourgene , but that in itself is a risk as we don't know for guarantee if business would be in profit next year or requiring more cash flow in the future to sustain the business.

What I would like to have seen was a large number of the BOD had invested £250K+ when the SP was £6+ . Only then they would have been eager to protect shareholder value. What is the average SP for JW ? I think its around £1 mark .

HC , okay let's say we get to £3 following DHSC court dispute. Let's say we win outright . What do you feel Novacyt will do next potentially with that cash and can this pump the SP to £6+ ?

Thanks CaptainSwag for your opinion. It's obvious we need some good contract win . Obviously we need to win the DHSC case , which would bring more cash into the company to acquire 2 more companies ( similiar size to Yourgene ) that can bring revenue each of £15- 30M per year. That's the only way I can see the SP getting close to £6. Otherwise I will lose my savings.

CaptainSwag , what's your thoughts about this trading update ? Are we burning too much cash far too quickly ? Are we going to get SP ever reaching £6 ?
