So why the rather bothersome fall this morning after several weeks of steady progress? Surely the MM's are aware already that JerCo won't be good for the City ( or anything else for that matter)?? If so they're a bit slow on the uptake.

In my travels I came across a case in India that had been in and out of the courts for about 14 years and had seen off several Judges and Counsels. I doubt even the SFO/Osofsky*** want to string things out for too long given the scrutiny they are under not only from marauding MP's but also disgruntled shareholders who have seen getting on for £2bn wiped off the company's value.
*** Is it significant that her name OSOFSKY contains "SFO" in reverse I wonder!

As for PFC I have a feeling, and have had for a long time, that the SFO is determined to find something agin the company come what may and will, therefore, take it right to the wire. Therein lies a downside for them of course. If despite their best efforts the case proves to be feeble and gets thrown out then once again, egg all over face.Then Osofsky will be pilloried for not practising what she has preached, something I'm sure she wishes to avoid at all costs having been brought in to the SFO with a great fanfare of trumpets only last year.

Late last evening I came across a Times article on my mobile which indicated that the SFO is going to start "looking at the bigger picture" rather than analysing every little scrap of information in the faint hope that it might just lead to a conviction.
Can't find the article this morning and as I don't subscribe to the Times have been unable to post a link.

Nobody knows Denby69. The SFO do not give progress reports. It could be 2 more years-it could be next week/month/year.

Completion time vary and are sometimes hard to calculate but the shortest was 1 year 5 months whilst other range from 3-5 years.
These figures were made up quickly so DYOR.
