Yes, that phenomenon was what I found when I couldn't sell as the prices were as you stated. So that indicates an auction. I did see the spread widen a lot. When it closed I could sell ... only 1232 tho', so should be another 20 ish shares tomorrow if the price is right!

The Ocado charts are showing sell ... price is bobbling about a bit ..... looks like I missed the 1240 with "technical issues" at HL !

I can't sell as sell price is higher than buy price!!!! ( 1389 sell, 1150 buy )HL says ...
The selling price currently displayed is higher than the buying price. This can occur temporarily for a variety of reasons; shortly before the market opens, after the market closes or because of extraordinary price volatility during the trading day.

So it's not just me getting a flat line chart after about 13:00 .... and a fixed price!

I had set a opportunistic limit sell on Ocado over the weekend at £12.40. Which activated when I wasn't looking on the rise this morning. So a good little profit. Waiting on the shake now to buy back in.

As T said I had bought in when Ocado started dropping at 12.77 and 12.40, so was over 22% down a week ago!! But with the rise Friday ended up losing about 7% of capital ... much easier to swallow! Then bought in as as T says earned an extra 22 shares. Still new to daily trading, I know what to do just need the nerve and spot WHEN to buy or sell!

Todays trade in cash terms is well on the way to covering the losses, just wait for a low price later ...

5 "euro" countries stopping any entry - Cyprus, Slovakia, Denmark, Poland, Chech .. only a matter of time no business will touch the EuroZone while the virus is still on the rise. Maybe to UK too if our counts rise... Trump has suggested so for USA !

The difference in cash from selling and buying was near £300 before fees and stampy, so have added 22 shares.

Yes, the value of those is not to be ignored!
Just need to trade a few more times next week to get back to where I was / profit!!

And for MCRO to rise... a lot!

On Stochastic I watch the smooth line moving up and down and when it crosses the jagged line above 80 or below 20 then it suggests action.
The W%R looks the same but a bit less obvious when to act.

The chart says ( K% seems to be the wobbly moving line, $D the jagged up and down line like on the W%R chart.) :-
Stochastics indicate the point of a security's price within the price range of the current period. They are useful to gauge sideways-moving markets. Indicator %K crossing above %D while %D is below 20 generates a buy, while indicator %K crossing below %D while %D is above 80 generates a sell. Fast stochastics are not smoothed (like slow S.) and thus get more market noise.

I guess if these were totally reliable everyone would be a master trader!

I bought a few less OCDO shares as I used some of the profits to buy MCRO but working out what I had at selling price vs new low buying price added 22 shares to just under 1000 shares. Aiming to get back to 1000 shares next week1

Bought back in OCDO at 1164, so 2.1% more shares.

Doh!
OCDO was 1159, tried to buy it became 1166 and rising.. now 1180 .. droppingto 1176 ..... got to be quick here and have fast data feed!!! Still waiting for more fall!!!

Didn't sell MCRO at £5 I'm afraid, but did use some of the Ocado money to buy more MCRO at 442 ... the weird selling higher than buying message on HL probably caused the stop on buying lower ... of course MCRO then slipped into 429 range! Lowered my average cost now and I am happy to play with these last 1000 shares on daily trading as the major loss from those I bought at 700+ doesn't affect them!!

I will buy into Ocado shortly with the proceeds of the sale, hopefully same number for less / more for the same cash and residual cash in the fund, hopefully MCRO will make me a few quid too.

OCDO price seems stuck on LSE and HL ... ( 1205 and 1193 so I am a bit lost .. Google says OCDO now 1159! HL now caught up ! Will wait a little as charts say nearly buy time!
May have to reset the PC !

I think some one here mentioned the LSE prices / graphs now seem to stop in the afternoon? My charts look like straight lines - maybe be flat, down or up, but straight and the price is incorrect!!!

Must be some volatility at MCRO - sell 499 buy 432 ... obviously HL won't let me buy!!!

I have a 3 day Fan event at end of May, just had a message saying it's still on but will refuse those showing symptoms, and queue / autograph lines will be controlled as per govt guidelines!.
Worse case will postpone until later in year and honour all ticket holders. Hotel was paid for but this far out should be able to cancel??
