Hi G,
on the HL platform, there is a tab fo charts and performance, with lots of options in 3 drop down lists. In the lower indicatiors drop down there is a chart for cyclical analysis - fast stochastic . This has an average/trend line and an activity line, and when they cross in certain regions ( above 80, below 20 ) it suggests a buy or sell. There is a help (i) button on top of the graph to explain .
Basically if the pink line is below 20 and blue line crosses above it it suggests a buy, and reverse if pink line is over 80 and blue line crosses below - suggests sell.
Ohh, I can copy / paste the help!
"Stochastics indicate the point of a security's price within the price range of the current period. They are useful to gauge sideways-moving markets. Indicator %K crossing above %D while %D is below 20 generates a buy, while indicator %K crossing below %D while %D is above 80 generates a sell. Fast stochastics are not smoothed (like slow S.) and thus get more market noise."
Can't paste the chart.
Ocado saying buy now!! 1412
