Charts were saying sell OCDO @ 1461 .. at 12.00 that spike lasted about 1 minute, back in the 1420's now....

I also missed the 10.30 am spike in OCDO where I would probably have sold. I'll wait for the spike this afternoon!

Didn't log on here till about 11 and found 4 1/2 pages of chat to read!

OCDO price up and down .... and looks like I bought in at 14.19 on a limit buy first thing!
So I am back in the OCado game

Now lets see what MCDO are doing.....

Agree with G and S - HL does seem to prevent sale / buy at the best prices ... and not just when the prices are reversed ( Auction? ).

Thinking of S in his red braces ... Cannon and Ball came to mind!!!

Had a reply after 2 messages to LSE about the charts and prices ( on the free version ) sticking after about lunch time ... charts go straight line and price freezes, and watchlist stuck.

Says they will look into it!

Yes, look at the historical graphs on LSE / here ... MCRO were over £20 Sp a year or two ago, and over £10 in Jan. Fell like a stone since tho .....

I only picked them up as looked volatile when Ocado were quiet as they fell thru £8 downwards....

T - I am sure i will, even if I have to wait out trading MCRO for a while! Cash waiting for OCDO !!!

I saw the BOE chap too ... did seem down on shorting... ;-)

lessons learned last 10 days - sold my OCDO ( cost 12.77 & 12.40 ) at 11.94, bought and sold, made 21 shares, bought and sold, made 24? shares, then sold this monday at about 12.34 ish ... should have kept hold of the shares and not traded and got £15+ today!!!
Didn't buy back in Monday and now missing out!!!

Never mind, once this virus is over it'll be fine.... at least we can play!

I'm fine thanks. Been sitting this one out since Monday when I sold at 12.30's .. and it's been up ever since ( with some nice range too! ). FOMU - fear of messing up!

I use the graphs HL's chart and performance page, using 2 of the lower indicators - W%R and fast stochastic. The stochastic one seems to help most. BUT I do tend to buy in to early on a fall and sell to early on a rise..... so don't rely on my advice!

When I commented on using them before the trend was generally right tho'

It is really annoying when these LSE charts / prices stick by lunchtime, already stuck since around 11:00.
Had mailed LSE last week about this but had no reply.

Having to use HL charts and pop in and out of deal screen / chart screen ... perhaps I can log in a couple of times and have a few screens open.....

Weirdly, the HL Stochastic chart is slowing buy right now!

T - no, didn't buy in at 12.67, partly HL wouldn't give me a price, and partly I would be buying at higher price than I sold last night (feels wrong! ) and get less shares .... obv. didn't know it would hit 13.50+ !! Shame that would have been nice.

I'll hang on for the shake this afternoon.
I don't really have a target daily or weekly, so can sit on a share or wait for a good price; the chat on here does give a few pointers when to watch the price! Just want to improve shareholding or cash value each time.

Yeah, HL slow to show today's data / price... then it shot up on a wide spread.
Of course I am out at the minute, like T was looking for something in the £11's ...

Supposed to be UK economic measures announced tomorrow.

Looks really bad for travel / airlines, and hospitality now with the avoid all non essential social contact - no pubs, clubs, cinemas, theatre etc. - although stopped short of force closing these - guess that would leave a way open for compensation ... leave them open and let the people just not go.

Similar for large gatherings - no emergency services to attend ... ( most events NEED this cover to run and insurance etc. ) so again organisers or public choose not to go.

Not good situation. And may last around 12 weeks ..... to be reviewed!

Sons graduation in July, he has finals in May/June... hope that goes ahead.

We're booked to go to Florida via Virgin atlantic, Disney hotel and parks, then villa for 2 more weeks and Universal etc. in August. Dunno how that will go... deposits paid and annual travel insurance held - all booked last August/September.

Don't talk to me about MCRO !!
I'm 40% down ... despite getting 25% more last week at lowish price... really can't face losing THAT much just to be able to trade, waiting for divi then see if / when they recover.
