Yes, missed CCL sell in the 1180's and 1170's yesterday so early sell in case they fall back again this morning!

This years Florida hols now all cancelled and moved to 2021, except disney hotel which we just cancelled.

Uncle Boris announcement in Parliament @ 12:30 ... 2 metre rule, when to open cinemas, pubs etc.

Should see a bounce in leisure shares? Or not until the actual open date ( 4th July still favourite ).

OCDO did show 2070 on the LSE intraday chart, for seconds before the sharp fall. Butas the charts are delayed 15 minute didn't help us. I think the price was shown in my HL account summary but by the time I refreshed the screen it had gone...

T - well done on the CCL sale - has CCL had it's rise for the morning, having arrest before the fall mid morning??

Is that allowed, drop the price so market makers / institutions can get cheap shares??
I read on the LSE boards about MM manipulation of price to fill orders, but not sure what they can do???

1500: eurozone consumer confidence data at 1500 BST.

Boris is supposed to outline pub etc. openings Tuesday - Marstons, Wetherspoons, Mitchell and Butler rising well ... on likely 4 July openings.

Also Chancellor strongly hints that government will announce / reduce the 2 metre rule for social distancing this week...

So could be some stimulus.

Of course financial "gurus" reckon the BoE adding £100billion quantative easing will hit pensions and savings....

CCL got to 1138 sell/1140 buy, now at 1142.

Have you decided on what car yet T ?

My car has a pinhole water leak on a water pipe under the manifold. I managed to push the rubber hose further down and clip it for now, part is £46, but it needs the induction manifold removing ( and loads of other bits to get that off, gaskets to rebuild etc.! ) and i may have cooked the head gaskets when it ran hot! Whoops.
So waiting on a tame specialist to see when he can take it in, and I'll throw a few other jobs in too to make it worth while.

Ohh well, bring on the shakes and spikes!

T -Brilliant bit of research and calculations... so if I pass £9k to you can you give me £100k, keep the change :-)

It's catching the near top of the spikes and the near bottoms of the lows that count, and that's what I miss often! If i get 1 of 3 I will be happy!

Re virus, it's been quite widely reported that the current version is less harmful to the host. The virus purely wants to survive, so killing the host is ineffective. A less harmful virus allows the host to spread it more widely so the virus thrives... all a bit sci fi as the virus is not intelligent but has "instincts" and a drive to survive.
So should fade away and radiate ... or at least be less of a problem ( except to the very vulnerable I guess. )
