Best guess trying to be helpful with trends and volume ratio's etc , FAIL miserably on most shares daily, hence the often read cry by the unresearched, we have 6 , 8 , 10 times the buys to sells (or vicky verka) and have not moved, as in reality the trading is pretty even. Algo , based on what IT sees as current mid price and range, all above mid BUY (Never the case) all below SELL (Ditto) everything exactly on its Mid , delayed trades (not black trades or mm hocus pocus) and anything IT now sees outside of its range, CHOKES = UNKNOWN

Its as simple and tragic as that, all trades here rehash of Exchange trade , all after volume BEST GUESS.

Most are provisionally booked for a non refundable deposit, you confirm finance in time and keep the slot, or its moved on to other interested parties that can pay, once contract firm , you have to pay the daily rate for the duration , unless fault with the rig/service provider themselves. Only the big boys with ultra deep pockets make long deals from the outset, aka giz a rig or two for 30-40 wells back to back FFD etc. They can afford it, JA at the thin end of the scale.

Stuck with it, the Market long ago offered the modern, simple, tech fix for real data at source, declined, as said they see all TRADES as both a buy and sell, so chose TRADITION over tech.

eg you the buyer via dma/broker from seller broker/floor mm etc.
