I reckon an intra day RNS re first pt dosed. Most research nurses / teams are totally seperate from the hospital workforce so won't be dragged into the latest vaccination push.

An intra day RNS may land for Moditope1 first patient dosed. What a Christmas present for the patient, their family and finally for the team at Scancell and all LTH's.
Covidity, tested and successfull in lab studies would also help : ))

Yes, polly-varient vaccines were mentioned. I just can't believe that we have a vaccine candidate in trial, that is UK developed, and initial results are literally within weeks..... and yet we have had no recent press coverage and a flat share price.

To end this ITU bed concern and reassure.
ITU bed availability has NO influence on trials. I have regularly participated in Intensive Care bed meetings at 2 large teaching hospitals with research facilities attached. NEVER EVER were ITU beds "reserved" for trial facilities or trials held up / delayed because of a lack/shortage of ITU beds. I have also had conversations with senor research staff, neither do they ask- nor are they required to a ask the availability of an ITU bed. An ITU bed will always be created for emergency care , either for a patient coming from the operating theatre, A and E or in-house patients which would include research facilities based at the hospital. To agree to participate as a trial centre the hospital may/ will have to agree to having ITU facilities available but never ever are beds reserved.

And there we go ... 19:50 on the bid. As I said there is no momentum to maintain the SP, incredible really.

Let's say the worst scenario happens and Covidity doesn't hit the target......we only need the Immunobody bit to prove itself ...silver lining and all that : ))

So whoever may be interested in the Immunoboby platform must have some confidence that the Covidity trial will be a success. A hostile/friendly bid prior to early results from SA would buy you so much more than just Immunobody... basically multi platforms (with Modi1 hopefully in trial as a massive bonus.)
I don't think SCLP has ever been more vulnerable to a bid before it gets too expensive to buy in whole or in parts.
Would it all depend upon Redmile and what value they anticipate?... guess so.

You have to wonder what figure is being offered for the whole platform.
Is it £X amount ...or £ X plus a % of future sales/milestones. I would think the latter I expect.

Yes ...we may get some news pre 2022 but my point is momentum. Our gain on Friday is already drifting and I expect we may hit a bid of 19:50 again this week or next. A Modi1 RNS will only serve to get us back to the higher trading range once again. Positive Covidity results, of which I'm very confident, will provide the sustained momentum to lift us well into the 30s 40s 50s and higher. We then eagerly await MODI1 results of which in also super confident.
My point is...this is the last chance to build a stake prior to the transformational news early next year.

It's clear that the next driver for the SP will be Covidity. Until news comes via an RNS late / early Jan/Feb , I can't see us escaping the 19:50-21 range. Possibly some main stream media coverage may help us in the interim. So... it's really time to take your position if you're a new investor and build a holding. Scancell have many products , both current and in development, so our success is not a binary bet on Covidity which in itself looks a very promising vaccine.

Despite my initial gasp at the 14 pts ( now clearly explained and NOT an issue ) Im very pleased with progress on all fronts .

Modi1 - its the R+D departments in hospitals "delaying" the trial due to pressure ( covid i expect) but still expects IMMINENT first pt dosed. Patients are ready.

Ld says only 14 pts dosed due to first few pts being observed for safety - now ramping up to about 10 per week - no concerns re recruitment. 16 pts have had first dose some had second dose.

LD "hopeful" Covidity will effective against the new variant.

About 7 per month !! SCLP will have recruited by April 2022 . Jeeps....may just beat the SCIB timeline !!

Burble, first recruit dosed on Oct 5th - now 14 pts . Wonder why so slow !! is it the recruitment pool - many with TB / HIV and poor education ???
