Whatever the reason they touched 40 pence today and this follows a recent consistent rise and were obviously boosted by their recent presentation so someone has faith in them.
Fundamentals or not ...and I can't believe our pipeline has largely been overlooked by the wider market....we have been stuck at 22 odd pence for ages. Agreed we have done OK this year on the back of Covidity alone but we have so much more to offer. Hopefully we will see a boost with any of the trials actually getting started and our true value will be rewarded.

Just look how VAL has soared these last few days..shows how fast a share can move with some positive momentum.

For me, SCLP really now need to prove that they can transform from a research outfit "waiting to be bid for" into a proper business outfit and progress with commercial deals. This starts with getting any of the 3 trials up and started with patients dosed.

Max, If you look at the University of Cape Town commercial research centre they offer a complete and comprehensive service but I would of thought RM would insist on it, at least for the initial start up. Perhaps news tomorrow.....

Scouse, I think we should forget the SCIB trial.. what is happening with it ? and why no patient dosed after such a long time? Is the inclusion criteria just too restricted?
Covidity and Moditope trial...clock ticking... but my alarm is now set for both , especially Covidity as I feel it should be recruiting by now.

yes I am jittery until we get first pt dosed for Covidity and Modi1...just look at the current SCIB trial ; ))
Recruitment is less restricted for these two trials, so if not this week for Covidity then..yes.. I would be concerned. Covidity, green light from the SA regulator, research center in SA agreed to run trial, recruitment no issue, vaccine ready ( we presume) pharmajet signed off (and I would expect in SA ready and waiting) ....so if not this week one of the above isn't ready which would be a poor show at this stage of events.

Well... this MUST be the week we hear from SCLP regarding SA trial start. I would expect a steady rise in anticipation and upon announcement a little spike. It depends how much "anticipation" has then been built into the share price how much we rise on announcement. This time we will hopefully hold our gains.

Loch.... you are most likely correct in your targets...just that I gave been in SCLP so long and through almost every fund raising I'm "exhausted"... £1 is my initial target...for partial exit. Perhaps I should have some more enthusiasm for the future but after this long I would honestly be happy with £1 , hold afew for a bit more profit , and not begrudge anyone who may hit the legendary £8 . A treatment for cancer I helped to create in my own small way would be my delight.

Loch...oh a pound would suit me just fine , I'd sell half and see if more was achievable with the rest.
Psychologically and realistically £1 does seam to be within reach with trials starting... that is why I have perhaps set the bar too low.
So ...Next week for SA trial start ? Anything later I would start to get the gitters.
Moditope... any educated guesses for trial start ?

Biontech, have made a fortune with their vaccine and have a secured revenue stream ahead. I don't think one shareholder would begrudge them snapping up SCLP at a healthy premium.

.... This is a Universal vaccine... Gritstone have started their vaccines this week ...and in the UK , not South Africa. Get the perverable finger out SCLP !!!

Just wondering about first patient dosed etc. Would SCLP wait for the trial (s)green light and then get all the systems in place ...or take a punt and get everything set up beforehand ? Guess as long as the vaccine/ moditope1 is manufactured and ready then it shouldn't take too long either way.
SA recruitment , is it "open" yet.. does anyone know? Looking at the eligibility criteria... perhaps it's the requirement to abstain from sex for the trial duration that's the issue :))) : )))
Joking aside, if it's for 20 volunteers they should be able to get them all jabbed in one day .

Currently on HL spread 0.09 difference between bid/ask on dummy trades.
