I think this statement can be extrapolated to the majority of our projects. MSC are keen to get on, its the suppliers, Morocco, Mexico etc who this applies to.

the disparity between stated ambition and actual developments can be enormous.

It certainly does suggest that the refiner/ producer is dragging their heels of getting on board and MSC as you say want wring every penny out of the ship, so they envision at least 3 months to get that negotiation completed and then who knows long for the MMU to be fit.

It does suggest that a Terminal is top of the list for this, as the turnaround would be quicker. So looking definitely like July ish.

Which begs the question of why, if this ship was specifically chosen as the trial ship, is it being used as a commercial container ship, despite the number of ships bought by MSC recently. So it does look at least, at least mid year before any trial may possibly start.

Its Goodfuels method of doing swift buisness and trials that I'm an admirer of, yes they are dealing with big firms.

There is a question perplexing me.

If MSC Leandra has been specifically bought for the trial, why is it necessary to have it as a working vessel this late or at all in spite of the consistent buying of ships by MSC to expand their fleet. If this one ship was singled out because of its previous trial experience why have it as a working ship at all. As others have deduced the Leandra is not in dry Dock as we were told it was going to be.

From my point of view I'm not concerned about the noise ( share price) its about the signal, namely actual progress, despite the concerns of shareholders at the AGM about over ambitious timelines, JM still went ahead and declared the Morocco trial underway and should be completed by mid Dec, here again that timeline has been and gone, that is what I'm pointing out.

We all believe everything is on course and being sorted until it isn't and we find out at the last minute....exactly like chips not being available for the MMU, the fuel being stuck in customs, and entities not coming together to determine fuel production despite being told MMU's are winging their way to Europe.

If certain rose tinted glasses investors here and elsewhere don't like hearing or discussing these things in an adult way, they really shouldn't be frequenting Public bulletin boards.

Almost the end of Dec, certainly seems the Morocco trial won't be completed as was intended, IF its gonna take place at all . Its the same year after year, we are led to believe that something is just around the corner or something from left field will come forth, nothing does, total quiet till the nxt IMC, from which we are hoodwinked again into believing it is coming.

If nothing in H1 2023, it will never happen.

Delays after delays on all projects. These other companies are dealing with large corporations as well, granted not as big as MSC but large corporations and......making progress.

While not a direct competitor, its good to see some Emulsion fuel firms are doing well and not being kak handed in the process like Qfi, good enough that Premier Miton decided not to sell down their holdings.

Makes you wonder how Goodfuels SulNox etc can get on and get results while ours are still researching, exploring yada, yada, yada.

And there lies the doubt. Fuel production for everything else, can't wait ho get a pic on twitter. Morocco we are guessing the clien to be OCP, no pics of fuel shipment, so hush hush top secret. But OCP blather on about green projects but MSAR is so sensitive its name can never be publicly admitted in Morocco.

Wouldn't be a total surprise if they had to remake the fuel since its probably been sitting in the Moroccan sun. Or its been stolen or confiscated. Lol.

6 ships deliverable by 2025, so they are taking it seriously as are those who are intent on supplying the fuel.

If Maersk take on BioMsar that's great, but we ve debated the economics of Msar V Vlsfo and other fuels over the years ad infinitum and look we we are with Msar.

Anyways last post on the topic , its unimportant in the scheme of things anyways. We are still 6 months behind with MSC without being bothered about Maersk.

We all know what Maersk are full of jackg i agree entirely that the Maersk buisness model is cut throat in its approach, but again facts are suppliers are willing to produce it, infrastructure is being built and that cannot be denied.

It may be a sleight of hand in how they use Methanol, it could well be they only use it in ECA areas around coastlines or ports and on the open seas they use other fuels including BioMsar. And thus say they use Methanol fuelled ships.

My point in the original post is that suppliers never seem to hesitate to want to jump on the Maersk bandwagon and commit to projects, while Qfi albeit a very small minnow have to jump through every hoop and dot every I, despite our fuel being shown unequivocally proven to work and does what it says on the tin.

I am certainly no fan of Maersk at all.

And since when has that ever stopped Maersk Nejc113, they went the route of VLSFO which was always considerably larger than using standard Msar and scrubbers, the fact that they have people willing to produce it and people willing to build infrastructure renders your critique nil and void.
