Honestly tho. One ship apparently bought specifically for this trial and they want to cream out as much money as possible in the short term, rather than expedite the trial what with the looming carbon charges on the horizon for long term gains.

But like I have pointed out those other shipping companies that have dealt with the likes of Goodfuels and now FOWE actually seem committed don't they.

Toby, nobody knows nothing about anything Qfi related. Have to wait till the half yearly I'm afraid. Its all if's, but's and maybes. You know exploring possibilities imminently etc etc.

And as a friend of mine has rightly pointed out. This test is on a MAN engine. Serious questions now need to be asked i think.

My point here Tuckman before the usual suspects wade in, is that small firms ( Goodfuels, FOWE, SulNox Methanex) comparable in size are engaging with their clients and getting trials for their Fuel solution on trial.

All data from our testing is months overdue and the ship we are supposed to be using is still wandering around on its travels rather than being prepared for trial.

Never mind the Fiasco which is Morocco. I think over confidence and complaceny on the part of Qfi is at the heart of our problems. Our lead on the competition is nothing of the sort.

I think the Cash cow is coming to an end as far as PI's stumping up any more money for fund raising os concerned....certainly is for me.

I was thinking the same jackg. No refiner is going to commit to install an MMU until a successful trial and a signed contract.

The BioMsar is released Manu its already on site. Its the 60 tonnes of normal Msar that is stuck in Customs.

What the hell is the problem with the same for normal Msar. Its a different code yes but shouldn't take nearly 4 months whether its based on Brexit or purely down to volume. But then again Moroccan red tape us pretty slow as per found UK government website states

Saying the fuel is released and on site would satisfy most people until half yearly results i would say. We understand MSC is a complex project and thus takes time, but Morocco has been fraught with uncertainty and would go a long way to assuring investors that all is in hand, especially after we were told that paper work was complete at the AGM and the fuel was due to be released ( which it hadn't by the Buisness update).

Well said 46G, but I think its falling on deaf ears tbh. We are probably an irritation to the company now, but just keep stumping up the money and we'll give you news when we see fit. These minutiae RNS come thick and fast, but the actual meat on the bare bones.......well still waiting aren't we.

Like I said yesterday ( or day before, can't remember anymore), I think the Wartsila result are probably the key to getting this moving. It shows MSC even more of what it does and should....should convince the refiners this is a serious fuels that would be advantageous for them to produce.

But what the hell do I know.

If MSC believe in BioMsar then they could do exactly the same as Maersk have done with those Green Methanol producers they have invested in. That in itself would prompt private investors to subscribe to another fund raise.

Its the PI who have propped up Qfi all these years and taken the risk, for nothing but delays and frustration based on imminents and other on the cusp of greatness comments.

Sentiment with Qfi is so low at this moment in time and articles like this dont help

All through 2022 the BOD carped on about getting projects across the line and here we are in 2023 still waiting, is it any wonder people are much p###ed

Let's face it, the only people making any money out of Qfi are those shorting it. Certainly not any long suffering LTH waiting for some....gasp .......shareholder value.

We all want everybody at Qfi to benefit from success DE, we all want Qfi to succeed beyond our wildest dreams, for everybody at the company and us long suffering shareholders. But a lot of us are just plain exhausted and quite short on funds to keep stumping up for jam which is always watery with hardly any fruit.

I think if Qfi does read these message board, that the general consensus is when a fund raise is announced a very good proportion of shareholders WILL NOT SUPPORT THE FUND RAISE, unless you do want you have promised over the past X number of years.

People are pig sick of listening to this crap year in year out.

We were told they had people on the ground ( local representatives i presume) and yet as of 2 weeks ago, still stuck in customs. It seems to be a repeating trait.....reminds me a lot of KSA. And how quickly that fell away even after the spat between Aramco and the power company.had been resolved.

Interesting article on Maersk's drive into Green Methanol and how they are helping to build the sector. Still short of around 3.5million tonnes but making leaps and strides.

Wonder if MSC are interested in investing in Qfi...LOL.
