Would someone be able to explain the mechanics of the £2m UT. I have read on other BB's that the UT code should be ignored as they were offers and acceptance that could not be matched and therefore null and void.
What I don't understand is firstly why show it at all if nothing occurred, why.does it fall into the sell or buy category as red or blue.
In this example (the £2m) does it mean that £2m worth of shares were trying to be offloaded.but were unsuccessful on this trading session but in theory could happen at the next . So in short is an II or number of PI's getting out.
I would be encouraged if Christopher Martin bought back the shares that he sold for personal reasons. To me it would demonstrate he still has conviction in the organisation. Not buying back in at such a cheap price is a little worrying IMO
I logged on to the afternoon presentation on Thursday for the USA investors. At the end, SMS stated that they had 50 log on to the call and asked for questions. Their was not one single question, even after giving extra time for Q,&A's
Have the Ii's lost interest, were any Ii's on the call. Is SMS now 'last seasons fashion'
I really hope not.
Agree that the sales teams have to take some responsibility in the poor forecasting. They should be feeding into the CFO the number of average pitches/sales leads they have or expect each month and set expectations on the sales wins ratio of these in revenue terms.
Everyone is in the same boat. It's just the way the market is right now even in traditional advertising/marketing. ITV are feeling it and look at some of the adverts on TV some of them were made years ago, dusted down and aired again. I'm some of the women in the Marc Jacob's Daisy advert have grandchildren now.
The market was expecting as a minimum at least an ETA of return to dividends. Not for Tim to be on a political soap box that adds absolutely no value whatsoever.
Why does Tim bang on and on about lockdown and the impact on business. Sweden is twice the size of Great Britain and has a population the size of London they didn't need to lockdown, a packed pub in Sweden is 4 people . And as for Peru I don't believe for one second they adhered to the rules or wore masks they would be out earning money.
No divi offered or indication of any future dividend so SP is getting slaughtered. Thanks Tim.
Probably going to pay themselves huge bonuses
Shooting himself in the foot several times says to me he has no forecasting or 'what if scenario' modellor. He knows marketing spend is tight, we have war in Europe putting economic strains on the world and the world is effectively in a recession. And he still gets the growth wrong 3 times in a row. In any other company he would be our on his ear.
