Am I mistaken or do we still not know what contingency leval the banks are demanding? So we still have no idea if it's $400 or $600 extra needed - which presumably will be raised in the next few weeks - somehow
$200m may not seem a lot to some of you but it will make a load more dilution if it comes via an equity issue

A few months ago Fred posted that she had bought a few extra shares just to get to a "round number". At the time I thought "tch..tch" then this morning after reinvesting the dividends in my ISA I was just a smidgen short of my own round number - why not? So the 2866 at 9.48 was me going to 666,666 SXX shares

Milo "there is risk" - exactly - $4 billion is too much to crowdfund and institutions are investing other peoples money so they have to be super cautious
Two or three years ago there were three huge risks - financial, construction and "will anyone want the stuff?"
All the crop trials and TorPs must have reassured over the last of these. Stage2 ,whatever any dilution, will cut the financial risk and the construction risk reduces every day that nothing goes wrong
BUT we still at least four and a half years away from profits so IMO the helter skelter of the SP will continue
and as you say, there should then be 100 years of good times to come

After the September RNS I ran my own calculations (and nothings changed since!) and also using 10% discount rate, late finish and 7 billion shares arrived at SP= 48p. Back at stage 1 the 20p placing was based on the logic that a fair price was 25p but a discount was needed to tempt institutions - so post stage 2 the SP becomes 39p
Of course the usual summer exuberance will probably get us to 55p
Personally I have been in SXX for over 3 years and won't be selling at 22p. 39p or 55p

Gina can have 50000 tons of Poly4 a year under her deal. Does anyone know if she can sell it on to sugar growers etc in Oz? Can anyone else in Oz even buy it? Or does she have sole rights under some obscure sub clause?

Casapinos is correct in one thing - we should all do a bit of rational analysis - I have done a lot on SXX and IMO a fair value for the shares is well above 20p. Problem is that the market price and fair value will rarely coincide.
Chesh - your monthly subs are the rational answer to this problem - well done:)

The wind rose on the plan seems to show 1200+hr/yr when the wind will be too strong.The data for Fylingdale shows the strongest winds in January/February which is when I imagine most of this work will be done but...

Looking through the latest episode starting at page 116 of the documentation (as per your heads up). I notice on the diagram at page 126 that the crane can only be used in winds less than 11.1m/sec.
As a southerner I envisage the North York Moors to be pretty windy - any idea if any or many days are likely to be lost because of this restriction? I seem to remember high winds holding up the diaphragm walling a year ago

The report may have been written years ago but what is still valid is its emphasis on two different and valid marketing strategies for polyhalite -
1) low price/high volume - must do if want to shift 10mtpa - which is why banks put a $125/ton in their sums for SXX
2) high price/low volume as a niche fertiliser which is exactly what Boulby seem to be trying

problem for Boulby comes when Woodsmith gets producing - maybe they close down then?

would be in the low hundred thousand tons p.a.
