i'm not talking about the price THG acquired whose brands. I am talking about how much those own brands contribute to the revenue of THG Beauty.

we don't know how much of the THG Beauty revenues are from their own brands and how much come from 3rd party. THG is not transparent about that.
That's why it is so hard to put a value on THG Beauty

you can't compare THG Beauty with a single brand, it's just nonsense.

4 years ago THG was owner of properties (real assets!), today they pay rent to MM...just saying

correct me if i'm wrong, but Ocados revenue mostly is from ARR (Annual Recurring Revenue). ARR are valued higher by the market

what does THG Luxury Limited includes? First i thought it's the Hotels, Spa's, etc, but they are part of THG Experience

when the SP was around 7? MM thought that THG is undervalued because of the complex structure of THG, so they announced the spin-off of THG Beauty (Softbank Deal was already public back then).
I think the innitial plan was to IPO (part) of THG Beauty in order to use that cash to invest in their also announced beauty brand portfolio expansion

seems the las year announced spin-off still gonna happen
makes it also more likely that PE only interested in a part of THG

lease and liabilites amounted to around 750m in 2020...

I doubt he has enough cash to take it back himself.
So the question is, would a sell out to PE make sense for MM's close friends? Even with a 100% premium ?
And no, i don't think that a 300% or 400% premium is realistic if you research the average takeover premium in history.

If the SP drops even further would a sell out to PE even make sense for MM and his close friends?
I mean, if MM would take THG back himself a low SP is good, because he would get his company back for cheap.
But to sell the company to PE? MM himself could make some deal with PE to stay CEO, get bonus, etc...for his so called closed friends tho?

i agree that THG needs to expand their brand portfolio. Unfortunately THG needs more cash for those acquisitions as beauty brands don't come cheap.
Would love to see some mid-end or budget brands to be added because it's just crazy what they made of myprotein in the nutrion area.

Why would you short a stock which fell 80% already? Do shorters really think THG will go bankrupt? Ofc it can go even lower because of interest rates, inflation, other external thing...but the risk/win ratio to short this stock is really bad?
