THG's Ingenuitys vision is to handle DTC operations for enterprise level clients (14$ billion GMV).

So currently we have fulfillment facilities over the globe which are mostly empty. Correct me, if i am wrong!

Also the current reality is that big players like Nike, Adidas or LVMH doing their DTC operations very successfully themselves.

What i'm missing is the vision of THG Beauty...

Luckily i sold half my stake (@96p) at the time of the "bloomberg twitter rumours".

Didn't want to make the same mistake i did the year before. This time didn't let greed overcoming me.

I never believed in a buyout at 200p+. As a customer of MyProtein i know that the brand isn't that strong. People buy MyProtein products because of the price, nothing else. Can't be compared with Glanbias Optimum Nutriotion.

As an early investor (@500p) who averaged down multiple times i am still under water tho.

Do you have any examples for me that a listed company was bought out for +150%? or even +100%?

Whey prices are declining and declining but MyProtein seem not to pass on the prices.

Maybe some changes in pricing strategy? MyProtein used to be one of the cheapest, if not the cheapest.

Been to 4-5 Rewes/Edekas in the last 2 weeks in Berlin and couldn't find any THG Supps there.
As i thought, there is no real deal with the German Supermarkets. Not yet at least.

THG Supps probably only available in very few stores. If they sell, they roll them out to more stores. That's how it works normally.

unpopular opinion:
one reason why i am still invested is actually because of MM, because he is not only CEO, he's also FOUNDER.
Founders normally think longterm whats the best for their company which is very important for growth companies / start-ups.

I'm not hating on THG, but this company has still to prove that its business model is working
Accumulating money and purchasing growth was easy in a field with low to zero interest rates.

To generate that amount of money, especially from softbank, was a good job tho - propbs to MM

THG purchased Brighter Foods in 2021.
So it's not completely organic. Till today they manufacture bars for other companies (nothing wrong with that) as MM mentioned not too long ago

THG has to prove now that it can grow organically which is really hard in these times

This is actually one of these points THG gets critisized for. Their reporting don't differentiate between organic growth and inorganic growth

I've been MyProtein customer for years and have to admit that it's so popular because it is known for their low(er) prices.

They make money from scale and don't have real pricing power
