What i also found interesting was the patients used in this pilot was relatively small and would not have taken a great deal of time.

News about FDBK and its cloud based TB detection is out in India and getting good coverage in on-line news sites.

They are all basically saying the same info as story owned by Buisness Wire India,. but in one article it said ( paraphrase as i cant paste directly) that Feedback are looking for other company's and organisations that see the value in this programa for TB screening to come forward to support and extend its reach".

I'm wondering if FDBK are building out a consortium in India whether Fujifilm could be another potential member.

My understanding is that this particular pilot is primarily around TB screening to find potential patients who have latent, early or late stage TB - so everyone ( 15 - 20 million ) will be required to be screened in the state at some stage.

If this pilot is successful and they are given the green light / funding to continue then FDBK ( according to presentation) will receive approx $2 per patient ( leaving 80% of revenue to their partners ...$8).

I am just wondering how they are approaching this pilot as it needs to be proven as a workable concept first, so get the funding ...so maybe they will only treat patients who present to them initially, or will they begin literally working their way through everyone living in the state finding out their TB status, and registering them for a individual health record via CareLocker - which in theory could be the beginnings of the Indian Health card for every Indian national.

The fact that AWS are involved from the outset must suggest that CareLocker will be involved from the start so that each individuals health data records are stored for easy access at a later date and show evidence that they have been screened for TB.
If that's the case then the vast majority of the work will not be done at the hospital and mobile x-rays will need to be visiting all villages etc within a 400 mile radius,.
Therefore, a partner who can supply the vehicles, equipment etc and manpower to reach these hard to reach places will be needed.

Its interesting that FujiFilm that have played a part in prevention in past and getting the word out about TB are now moving into the latest technological advancements led by AI and IoT !

However, a good start would be visit the Alzheimer's Society and request you want to discuss with a Dementia Advisor. They will know how to go about this, what support in your local area and advise accordingly.
One of the big problems is that nearly everyone of a certain age has a parent or uncle who may be effected by dementia, and if you go to an older age group nearly everyone has a brother or sister, spouse or friend whom may be living with dementia. We are all living too long! Trouble is the other option does not sound that great either. :)

Whats so exciting is its not as if FDBK / Qure.AI are testing a ne drug for TB, and all that entails. This has been proven to work by UK Vets and inside NHS hospitals and so in many respects is ready to go.....just need to prove how it can be replicated in large numbers in India and shorten the time between diagnosis and start of medication.

Surely, one or more of these partnerships will have to come up with an army of TB Health workers, a great deal of mobile Xrays etc and possibly a large team of radiologists to compliment the Qure.AI technology.

Imagine when FDBK takes off in India ! They are certainly in partnership with the best and i can see no reason why this should not happen and be used. TB is worse today in India than it was before covid and the pressure is certainty on Modi's five year plan or whatever. Lets hope for a fast tack.

Sorry to hear that and I know it is hard to get, but many peeps should get it but are denied. Its worth getting specialised advice and help IMO as they can and do often force a win. Serious money involved in older care - my dad was paying just under £1800 per week in London until he got the NHS funding.- went through his life's savings in no time then they had their eye on his house. Whats amazing is that all nursing home care is free to anyone in Scotland. They do not have this distinction between so called standard community care and NHS care..........people need people at the end of the day.
