Perhaps a whiff of good news on it's way with so many outlets involved will be difficult to keep developments completely under wraps. Be great if smt is done think that would be a very big event if it happens. Funny how the sp moves without news when trades aren't substantial is it to fill a large order or something else always seems random.

That's an impressive list b+ Lars did say they are working on battery technology so you could be right about gelion.

I did wonder why GC posted that nvidia article that mentions several other supercapacitor manufacturers and would hope it is because cpx are in detailed discussions with data centre providers that will soon result in them securing similar deals. Can't otherwise think why he would promote that kind of news.

Hopefully some news soon before b+ list won't fit on the screen!

They've got some work to do though to off-set 300k/m cash burn but seem very focussed to get the job done.

Let's hope so VR for all us LTH's. I got a mention on advfn from GW I remember all his negative posts saying cap-xx would never make a profit unfortunately he's been right up to now wish I'd listened to him and sold out when the Newlands did.

I always thought 20p was possible when there were around 570m shares but it never quite got there peaking around 14p. That 20p would equate to nearly 2p now so I'm still waiting holding many more shares.

Getting back to energous it was Patrick Elliott who said the partnership was inactive. Seemed a bit negative to me don't know why he didn't say they've just ordered millions of capacitors for the amazon contract!

Btw I haven't got a clue what is going to happen here which is why I continue to hold through all the ups and downs.

My mistake they're an epeas partner who are a partner of energous.

We'll have to ask more questions at the next meeting about energous but it's a bit annoying how they don't elaborate on the answer it's quite obvious we want to know if cpx will win any business from these energous contracts and he just says it's inactive so what else are we to assume other than they've been blown out and ligna have got in there.

Let's hope so Parkez with Patrick Elliott saying the energous contract was inactive and ligna becoming partners of energous and epeas might need something like this to regain competitive advantage. Cap-xx are still listed as partners so hopefully might be inline for some sales from these contracts. Does look like the market for these products has arrived and growing so if cap-xx get a good slice the numbers should be improving.

Have you seen these also listed claiming thinnest in the world at 0.4mm available from digikey and epeas partner.

Maybe they have pushed out cap-xx from the energous deal.

Have you had any response from cpx they never replied to my emails. Trying to get updates on progress with their new products particularly smt but timescales keep changing in every update.

Do you think the new team will deliver the sales required to turn this around.

I'm intrigued as to why they wouldn't want to go over 5% and they're not buying to lose money. If it's to do with notification why would that be an issue as it would probably cause a price rise which is good unless they're looking to buy a huge amount more shares in one purchase.

Whatever it is they're know much more than we do about the business so must be good if they're buying.

That's interesting i wonder why they are just under 5% as they could easily afford to buy a few 100k more. Still great to see they increased their holding. Maybe their supercapacitors are selling in large numbers they didn't hang around offering them through their extensive distribution network.

Hopefully you are right VR but the numbers don't look great. H1 only +6.8% and Jan bookings only 281k is far short of reaching breakeven. They need to win some substantial deals and bring smt high volume to market to have any chance of becoming profitable.

I think it will be mediocre numbers with the usual carrot dangling of smt, 3v and dmh 0.4mm huge potential.

Be great to get some meaningful detail on progress to generate some much needed enthusiasm.

There will be carnage here if no good news no contracts no smt and little sales growth. They did say the last set of results were the last without all the great stuff from schurter and digikey so if all we get is promises it will be like kongat's has returned

Are we due a quarterly update if so is this one expected to deliver the good news or will the wait continue

B+ is correct on this cash burn is around 300k per month and is decreasing along with anticipated increased revenues and around 5m cash is were the 24months comes from.

Hopefully his sp prediction is also correct.

Unfortunately with the lack of any concrete news of orders or smt progress the assumption that sales are minimal and high volume deals still some way off is easy to make. The LinkedIn posts don't answer the questions so until a trading update is issued it's still hoping Lars is doing the business and timescales aren't pushed out further as normally is the case with anything cpx says.

I hope they have achieved sales with all the new distribution and schurter it will be a blow if no one wants to buy cap-xx supercapacitors. Whether we like it or not they do need to get a move on and update the market.

B+ big news required for your predictions if 1p happens something good will have occurred. Hope they deliver soon so all the guessing stops and we can look forwards to all the potential.

Absolutely cashbrown kongats was terrible. Strange that 23m could be sold when volume quite low. I'm really beginning to think this is being held down for someone to buy up whatever is on offer. It's been like this for sometime now and the selling seems to have declined. If a large holder has turned up it will help if big news is delivered as hopefully there will mainly be buyers pushing the price up.
