Maybe blue who knows. Looking at dates we probably won't get a pre close trading update until around August by which time quite a bit of news could arrive such as

- smt/ binder patent granted

- smt testing complete

- high volume contract for any of the new 3v, dmh & smt technologies

- Continental contract restarting

- Asian conglomerate contract finalised

I've probably missed some but they're my realistic expectations that will generate many blue finishes. The icing on the cake will be signs that profitability is achievable in FY26. Unil then I'll leave it to the charts as they have it under their control.

No you haven't read it wrong but lars confirmed in the February presentation that they were working an extended single shift pattern to keep costs down but as demand increases this will become a full 2nd working shift which might even be the case now.

If they confirm a high volume deal I hope it takes off what's your expectation I think with the right news it could easily rise near to 1p. Parkez thinks 300m mcap with smt but even half that is around 3p. See what happens if and when deals are announced as it will be a completely different picture then.

S626 that job has actually been on their website for some time now and I would think that person has now been recruited.

Considering the potential of this deal the sp reaction is quite subdued. Hopefully that will change soon.

Something to look forwards to then. I wonder if kongat's and any other old directors still own shares. Always thought he should have brought someone like lars in to drive sales and he could have focussed on the technical stuff where he's more suited.

What's your thought on it only being a reach announcement I guess it's non binding at present but once a contract is signed would need to be rns'd and if substantially improving revenues will need some guidance on numbers even if they can't give a value due to confidentiality.

I agree wyn i think this design win led by the new team will result in commercial success unlike kongat's who didn't have a clue how to negotiate sales from any previous wins. He's the inspector clouseau of sales turned every opportunity into a disaster!

Lars and GC will be focussed on commercial success so as you say I expect a contract to follow.

They do need to communicate though the sooner the market see the results the better the sp will be. I'll be surprised if we find out who the Asian conglomerate is but if it's someone like samsung the opportunities for other products like mobiles will cause some excitement.

True wynd but I think it's due to the many previous design win announcements that resulted in no noticeable increase in revenues. The assumption is here we go again no numbers!

Cap-xx's reputation is not the best but Lars can change this if the results are good but no one has a clue it is strange if all was going well they haven't issued a guidance on current trading.

They promise so much and deliver so little. If only they could sell some products as a little success could easily turn this into a 150m mcap company. All these claims of world leading products and rapidly growing market and we're lucky to see 1 contract in 12 months. Still hopeful but struggling to stay tuned as haven't got a clue what lars is playing.

Unfortunately they have no reflection on reality. At present there is no forecast even from allenby their broker so it's all guesswork. Take your pick from was has been posted here but what comes in the next results will play a big factor. If smt hasn't progressed and another contract secured by the end of June even 1p will take some doing.

Thanks parkez hopefully it gets signed off and the market size is substantial due to its uniqueness. I still think the Asian deal has something to do with new technology. Shame cap-xx don't give any details.

All agreed then it is a smt reflow oven compatible supercapacitor but may not have the capacitance range and performance of the cap-xx product.

Not ideal if correct but hopefully cap-xx will clarify as and when their version comes to market. As long as they get lots of orders what will be will be!

That was good timing as having looked at the information again I have just come to the same conclusion that you have. So reflow soldering indeed uses a reflow oven so these products look to be suitable with the only difference perhaps being the capacitance range. Maybe parkez or someone will clarify but it's odd as lars thinks the competition can't catch up due to their patent application.

Jinvestus I asked parkez the same question regarding the same product as you and his answer is below it appears it's not reflow oven compatible

Have you looked at the potential of the smt product whilst the chances look slim if it succeeds it could really transform the business.

Yep after more than 10yrs of smt failure the market is not pricing any chance of success so if it happens the full value should be transferred to the sp in a very short space of time like the big bang theory.

That is a possibility b+ needs to be one of these infrastructure projects or the long awaited smt then it could become a beast. Until then it's traded up and down like a yo-yo unless the charts say different wyn where are you i like it when the charts say it's going up

Wyn i don't follow the charts and they have their place but cap-xx seem to be on a knife edge where a technological breakthrough could result in a serious rerate. Can that news land whilst the charts indicate weakness. It's clear to see this is being traded and obviously they don't care about the potential upside which may never happen but if the odds start to point towards success is it not better to stay invested irrespective what the charts say.

Having said that trading this share over the years would have been the best option whilst Ariel thinks otherwise although they still haven't given news to help investors here. Surely cap-xx must know the market wants to see numbers something they seem reluctant to share.

Janoz lars confirmed they're working on infrastructure projects so it is possible if they are close to winning one to be holding off issuing an update. Also patent news might be issued in june to do with a 30 month time limit from priority date so we wait and see. Smt working will be big news i feel as it will unlock so many doors.
