Hi wyn i too think the design win could be significant if it is due to new technology yet to be announced.

Hopefully it will all come together with patent news, new contracts, continental up and running and this latest win turns into a high volume contract.

A lot to come good if so next year will be good for cap-xx.

Wkw yes seen his posts similar format for traders unfortunately cpx has been targeted by them. Ariel thinks it's not a traders share but until they deliver something that's where it's stuck. All comes down to cap-xx turning this around into an investment we'll see what the report says when it comes.

Maybe cap-xx are going to spring a surprise on the market and just release a great set of results with an eye watering forward looking statement.

It's never happened before so there is always a 1st but no contract wins no update only a few weeks to go for something to happen even b+ has gone quiet is all a bit like the old cap-xx.

The results will make for interesting discussion when we get them as will the next presentation if all is not good

If it actually gets to 1p because the news is that good further 1p rises might come quicker. A big slice of good fortune needed but you never know cap-xx might be 5he one....at long last!

Jinvest I pretty much agree with both your posts and this could all turn to dust. I also am concerned about digikey sales with stock levels appearing to remain fairly static but I don't know how their system works.

It's all speculation and wishful thinking but Lars mentioned huge EMS companies carrying out smt testing. I don't think these companies just test but also provide outsourced manufacturing services. I'm hoping the testing they have done may have resulted in this design win.

I believe from the patent priority dates that around June time they may be granted. If so and this deal is smt we might get more details then with patent protection secured.

It's all guess work it might just be existing products in a small niche application. But mentioning an Asian conglomerate gives the perception of large scale and for cap-xx to win something of this potential must be down to some very good technology which hasn't previously occurred.

Hopefully it is groundbreaking and results in high volume sales and profitability otherwise it's like every other deal. Don't think lars would announce something that wasn't real though which it what he said about the smart meter deal so fingers crossed it is all good and tuned.

By then we should know about smt and other deals in data centre, renewable energy and ev's that lars confirmed are being worked on could land. Then this headset deal could start along with the delayed continental deal.

If it all comes together which never happens in real life but you never know it will be great to see how the sp reacts.

Yep with what could be transformational news this selling is the only thing that concerns me because in the past with cap-xx they have always been the smart ones.

News that smt has been signed off would be acceptable.

Parkez i think that news would cause more price action than any other. It would tie in with a the last rns perfectly for some serious high volume sales. Lars also said the chinese manufacturing capacity was virtually unlimited which is probably where these will be made.

Let's hope this is smt related why else would cap-xx secure this kind of deal now when in all their previous 26yrs have sold bugger all.

I remember it much higher and 65m mcap with bugger all in place except false promises. If any of the recent news turns into real profitable business 0.44 is still very low

Yes can't even buy £100 that's a 1st I've bought numerous times large amounts and never had a problem must be Samsung then.

I'd hope the term conglomerate indicates a decent sized organisation.

Still need orders and smt news otherwise no one is interested other than to sell/trade. Anyone think it's coming soon feels like the market will be surprised if they announce anything on that front as why would you sell if a high volume smt contract was imminent.

The speculation hasn't done much here it is unfortunately very much as usual that without being a confirmed contract with numbers and who it is doesn't allow a value to be attributed.

Cap-xx have a history of being selected by many potential customers but no orders followed. I hope this is not another one and results in a soon to be announced contract. Good thing is i don't think lars would announce this if not confident of success.

Yes and don't need a huge % of the market to make a massive difference to cap-xx revenues. Although mention here of 100's of millions 10 or 20 million headphones would dwarf cap-xx current revenues.

I can't see how this won't have to be communicated in a proper rns eventually if it is such a material impact on revenue. I guess realistically it may be a far smaller number of specialised devices but hopefully we'll get numbers to confirm before October.

That would be amazing but wouldn't the sp be higher if those were the numbers. They'd also have to issue a material rns not reach so at the moment all speculation but if it becomes reality then what a bonus. Realistically it won't happen but like buying a lottery ticket there is a chance it could be us

Pipeline is only 9m and schurter & cooley were happy to pay 0.3-0.4p. Your targets seem very low.

4k i think i remember your credit card argument and to be fair with cap-xx's previous failures in everything kongat's touched you have been correct. But even during those failed times cap-xx reached a mcap of over £60m.

Supercapacitors is a growth market and if cap-xx grow and become profitable that's all that will matter no one will be interested in the electronics details. They'll just see breakthrough technology, market leader, potential huge contracts & profits and the sp may go on a surge. It's all about the numbers and there is a chance they will deliver this time we'll just have to wait and see if it becomes reality or as you say just another load of bs

Parkez when you think about it cap-xx have virtually won bugger all from anyone for years and are tiny. Why would an Asian conglomerate all of a sudden want to buy from them unless they really have a differentiator from all the other supercapacitor manufacturers.

It may well just deliver who cares if some are pumping as long as cap-xx deliver the news it deserves to be pumped into the pennies because that will reflect true value.

1p is just 57m skeleton technologies could be £1b when they float what would a successful profitable cap-xx be when that happens is 3p - 5p that ridiculous I'm not so sure now....keep going b+ now the news has started the more positive posts the better as long as cap-xx become profitable it will all be justified.

Hope it's not another false dawn from the dark days of kongats been there too many times.
